Total freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wunderbar gelegen. Gastronomiebetrieb im Zimmer nicht hörbar, also schön ruhig. Zimmer mit Schränken. Badezimmer sehr klein, aber neu und ordentlich. Schönere Stadt als Perth. Gerne wieder.

Great staff and service at this old world style stay. A free drink card upon checking in and super friendly and helpful staff was what made the stay special. The room and ensuite were not luxurious but certainly clean and functional and as an overnight stay heading elsewhere it served us well. The restaurant was great and it’s easy walking to all Fremantle sights.

The Norfolk is a heritage building with lots of character, live music and good dinning. The location is close to Freo hospital and the historic precinct, walking distance to train station makes travel from here on trains across the metro area very easy. Dave

Great location for hospital, Room clean and tidy although no ventilation gave it a damp smell when first opening door, bathroom fan had to be left on to clear. Lots of stairs to climb so not for the mobility impaired. Staff - Just brilliant food - simply amazing . A bit noisy until closing time but not excessive. Would use again.

We love staying at The Norfolk Hotel! It’s a busy pub with a lot of history, terrific vibe & food & always friendly helpful staff. The rooms upstairs are clean & comfortable- a mix of ensuite (Room #1 is the biggest, but is above & closest to bars underneath; Room #9 quieter at the back), when we’ve stayed in the shared bathroom rooms we’ve never had to wait for a shower - there’s only about 9 rooms total. Coffee pod machine in room, but I love the Serenitea range :-) Very reasonably priced for the middle of the Freo action. If parking is required then arrive as early as possible to get a free spot out the back. Note that the rooms are up steep stairs. A lovely shared lounge area for guests overlooking the courtyard. Norfolk Hotel has the best cocktail event space ‘the Green Room’ & the beer garden table next to the BBQ smoker is our fave meeting spot - a great view of the Freo street life & Sunday arvo hotted up & vintage car & motorbike drivers :-) Can also recommend the Mexican Kitchen down the road, Papa Luigi’s for breakfast - both been there for years, & also the more recent Darling Darling pirate bar :-) And great markets just across the road too of course. The Norfolk Hotel is the perfect location for experiencing Freo, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else - cheers!

Great pub with excellent accomodarion,good food a very considerate Manager,All the staff were very helpful. You have to accept a shared bathroom but this is reflected in the price.plus stairs to navigate. The bonus is 2 free drinks which is worth 25 dollars

It was at a great price and the little room had everything I needed. It was clean, the bedding was high quality - excellent mattress and linen - and the staff were super helpful. The toilet and shower area was also very clean and had body wash, shampoo and conditioner - and a nice brand too. Highly recommended.

Great location. Comfy room. The room could do with blackout curtains as the light outside of the bedroom window was on all night. Also take earplugs as it is very noisy from the bar below especially at weekends.

Fabulous stay. Large room that was quite comfortable. Appreciated the welcome drinks and the very friendly service. The hotel was very popular as a bar so be prepared for some noise. Stops at 12. Plenty of stairs so be prepared. Would highly recommend.

The Norfolk Hotel is fabulous in terms of atmosphere and history, vibe and catering. However as a 'resident' twice now both times have been uncomfortable. First evening the noise on the streets (not a hotel issue) was loud and continuous with obviously happy people not realizing that they were next to a hotel with sleeping patrons.... motorbikes skidded around outside my window and yelling and laughter continued until around 3am. I was exhausted. The next time I was there, a week later, my room had a TV that did not work (no worries - I read instead) but the room was next to the entrance flight of stairs with lights on through the night. The blinds would not unfold all the way nor could i close them to cut out light ... I placed pillows and a towel over as much as I could ... I understand the lights are needed for safety but this particular room should have a more effective blind (not malfunctioning shutters) so the patron could sleep in peace.

The Norfolk works well for us.
we have stayed with you twice before. this time our room, No 9 was particularly good. roomy, clean and comfortable. staff were very good and helpful. the bar manager on the night was extremely friendly, professional and bouyant. Great place to stay being central to most activities that we enjoy.
