« A precious lady, Gail, welcomed us to her Inn. She had a full house of 12 to serve as hostess for morning breakfast which was excellent! The second morning was delicious as well. Gail’s daughter was out of town for medical testing for the week, leaving her to carry the load of which she did wonderfully. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only thing that I would recommend would be to tidy up the landscaping. It would improve the exterior of the beautiful Inn. Overall we enjoyed our stay at...

« We arrived after dark and were a bit skeptical of the place but once we met with Dan, we were glad we chose the place. Our room was neat and cozy with an excellent view of the ocean and the sound of waves splashing against the shore. Dan made us a special vegetarian breakfast both days which was excellent. He really cares about his guests and goes out of his way to make them feel special😊 »

« My mother and I had the best stay at Heathwood Inn when we visited Bar Harbor this summer. The staff is amazingly nice and they even prepared for my last breakfast the famous pumpkin waffles I had seen in the comments and nicely asked for - if possible (they are so delicious). It is also very easy to move around the island as one of the island buses can stop right in front of the Inn, allowing you to explore Acadia without a car and struggling to find parking. Yass! »

"La chambre a été faite seulement aprÚs la premiÚre nuit et pas la deuxiÚme. Il a fallu courir aprÚs des serviettes propres le soir. 45 minutes d'attente aprÚs un appel à la réception donc je suis allé à la réception pour aller chercher les serviettes. PlutÎt ordinaire pour ce genre d'hÎtel à $750 cdn la nuit. Le reste était correct. Excellent emplacement au bord de l'océan."
