We stayed in this apartment to attend an event at the convention center. Since it is only a block away, the location was perfect for us. The place was very nicely decorated and clean. There were lots of towels and enough kitchenware for what we needed. It is about 2 blocks away from City Hall and Love Park.There is a great workout room and even a full basketball court (with pickleball nets available). There is a rooftop area with a grill on the 23rd floor (we didn't use it since it was cold the days we were there but it looked nice) and a resident lounge with a pool table just off the lobby.The biggest downside was that there is almost no view out of the windows. The apartment is on the 2nd floor and a lot of lower rooftops can be seen from the windows. They have a collection of air conditioning equipment and other junk that has accumulated over the years. Even beyond that, most of the windows faced brick walls. So we just kept the blinds closed which was fine for our purposes.The bedrooms are set up for large groups. The result is that some of the closets are blocked by beds and one room has no nightstands next to the beds. That didn't really bother us though.One thing to note - we tried taking the stairway next to the elevator down one morning and ended up in a long hallway though various industrial areas. The stairwell door locked behind us so we couldn't go back. We eventually came out in an alley next to the building but I would recommend just using the elevator.
