The property was ideal for visiting with our daughter at OSU, we had her 86 year old grandmother visiting from the UK and there was enough room for everyone. The kitchen was fully equipped which helped with meals, unfortunately the weather wasn't agreeable to sit outside but having the large yard is a bonus.Although on the main road it was surprisingly quiet.Would recommend staying here, easy commute to Corvallis and OSU.
Two issues caused me to cut my trip short: pet accommodations and location. I did not read restrictions on pets at the property until the day of - so my bad. Still, I don't think its accurate to call a place pet friendly when pets are restricted from a number of rooms (including the main family area) and aren't allowed to sleep with you. Additionally the property is the corner plot by a busy, 4 lane road with semi's traveling down it at all hours. I did not see this mentioned anywhere. The house was pretty quiet, but you could still hear traffic. Back yard (though spacious) was very loud. The contact person was very responsive, cordial and offered to shift us to another location at minimal charge, but we decided just to cut our trip short. If you don't have pets and don't mind some noise, this is a great spot. Just not a good fit for us.
What a beautiful and quaint Little house to stay in would love to stay again. It's close to the snow, which made it awesome to go play up on mary's peak quiet.Neighborhood
The property is clean and nicely decorated. We had no issues with that. I do want to point out to those who may be noise sensitive that the property is located on the corner of a main thoroughfare and the road noise and vibrations from especially semi traffic is noticeable in the home's rooms. If you are a light sleeper, you will notice this, especially at 3 a.m. in the morning. I share this not to be mean, but to be completely transparent and honest with those considering the location. Our host was great and responded to our questions promptly.
Wonderful little house to stay in- near Corvallis. We were there for Thanksgiving and we couldnât have asked for a better location and accommodation. We got to do a lot of neat things in Corvallis and the surrounding areas. Spacious for me and my 3 kids- thank you for a memorable vacation!
The property is always clean, and well cared for. The yard maintenance was done while I was there, and they were very polite. I enjoy staying in this home because it is close to my family, yet I have a quiet and calm place to go to (this home) after a day full of visiting! I am hoping to stay here again soon!
This place is the best! The large, fenced backyard was heaven for our young, active dog! The house is comfortable, clean and beautifully appointed. The host was in immediate contact with a rapid resolution of the one minor issue we had! Highly recommend this place!
There for grandsons baseball tournaments. Location was perfect for all the things we needed and places we needed to be. House was clean and had all we needed right down to accommodating pet owners!! Our host was easy to reach and communicate with!! We've found our place to stay while in town for baseball!! đ€
This was a nice clean home in a quiet and convenient location. I would definitely recommend this Vrbo listing to anyone traveling to the Corvallis area.
My wife and I stayed at this conveniently located home in Philomath with our 3 small (6-8lb) dogs. The backyard is completely fenced, for a safe and secure spot to spend time with the pups. The home is comfortably appointed with everything we needed for our 4 day stay, with the exception of a baby gate or two to keep the dogs in the kitchen/foyer area. Luckily we had brought our own, so it wasn't a problem.
