Three bedrooms, one level, zero stairs between anyone's door and the kitchen, Lazy Cub Lodge is built so a group can actually gather instead of scattering across floors. The main level holds a king suite and two queen rooms alongside a living room warmed by a stacked-stone fireplace, while upstairs an open loft turns into a full game room, pool table, reading lounge, and sleeper sofa all in one space. Step through to the screened-in sunroom next door and the game shifts to cards at a table shaded from the weather, a quieter option most cabins in this shop don't have. Outside, a wooded yard with a swing and sitting area extends the gathering further, and the hot tub closes out the day once everyone's ready to slow down.

Check in was good and directions were spot on. The blinds were very dusty, walls and doors appeared to be dirty, outside furniture was very dirty and has to be cleaned before using any of it, and the gas grill did not have a bottom to it.
Overall we were satisfied with our stay. My only complaints were that the main level shower faucet is extremely hard to turn on, to the point you feel like you are breaking it turning on the water. There is no noise cancelling whatsoever between the floors. So if you have early risers who want to play in the game room, just know the whole cabin will hear them. One of the bedroom doors rubs against the door frame which makes it hard to open and shut. I do wish the seating area outside had a fire pit and that there was more lighting inside. The hot tub was nice. Everything was clean. Bed felt uncomfortable to me but my husband approved. I appreciated the supply of bath linens. The driveway is up a very steep hill and parking is on an incline as well, so just an FYI for those coming in expected rain/snow.
