Plum Island Lighthouse protects the delta of the Merrimack River, and was commissioned for the first time in 1788 with a lantern that burned whale oil. Its current form dates from the year 1898. In 1927 it began to work with electricity and was automated in 1952. As you can see the light it emits is green. The lighthouse's surroundings are always accessible and the structure itself is open some days a year. Unterkunft abgelegen. Für ein ehemaliges Hilton Hotel ist die Ausstattung sehr naja. Eingangsbereich sieht viel versprechend aus aber die Zimmer mittelmäßig. Also kurz und knapp, es ist das Geld nicht Wert.

Very nice Hotel with a great location and really good service. We were allowed to store our Luggage after check out for a couple of hours and could use the parking spot until 4pm the day of check out. Thumbs up for that !!!
