Overall, great location and property. We gave it four stars for two reasons: 1. Outdoor deck was a bit beat up. The metal table was completely rusted which was a bit unsafe to use as it was chipping and the wooden deck was also chipping so footwear was needed to insure you don’t get a splinter 2. It was a pain to have to drive a quarter mile out of your way just to dump off the trash. Other than that, we loved the house. We would certainly rent again despite the inconveniences. Property manager was very responsive.

We had a great time! Michael is very responsive. The house was clean and comfortable and a great location with access to the lake. I love that we are able to bring our dog and she can enjoy the lake too! This is the second time we have booked a long weekend here to relax and plan to continue! Thank you for having us!

Excellent Stay On The Lake

We had a very nice, comfortable, relaxing stay at this house for a long weekend. Place is very clean and situated right on the water, which even in winter is great, with a frozen lake you can walk out onto! Super warm and cozy in winter, and the downstairs/basement area, kitchen and upstairs bathroom are all recently renovated so they make a good effort of keeping the place up to date. Beds were very comfortable (always important) with plenty of seating and also plenty of kitchen equipment. Lots of games for families to enjoy.Mike was very friendly and communicative, and check-in was easy. Only minor quibbles were the front door sticking a bit and also a lack of hot water in the showers in the upstairs and downstairs bathrooms, which is just due to how the shower nozzles were set (plenty of hot water in the faucets) and which Mike will get updated so shouldn't be an issue in the future (or in the summer).Would highly recommend! A great place to stay in the Arrowhead Lake community!

Great weekend getaway

Our family and pup had a great stay. The view of the lake from the big dining room window is amazing. We made the most of the lake with the canoe available and everything you need for the lake is provided like paddles and life jackets. Hiking near by and community has great public spaces to use. Plenty of towels and linens. Games stocked for nice relaxing day/ night with the family. Easy check in process on the way in and check out simple. Great outdoor space for whole family. Would definitely stay again.

Location, Location, Location !

The house is right on the Lake and in a great location with a gorgeous view. Great sunsets and sunrises to gaze at. It is a very cozy home with all the conveniences you would need. It had a great side deck off the house that had the most comfortable chairs to take an afternoon nap. But if you wanted activity there are many water features available for a day on the Lake, bikes and enough indoor entertainment to keep you busy. If you want a beach like experience it was a few minutes walk down the road. The best feature for me was the host Mike, so receptive to my questions I had before and during the trip, he never made you feel like a bother in fact quite the opposite, Excellent customer service , thank you again for sharing your home !!!!!

Lakeside property, well-equipped

This lakeside home was just as described in the listing: an ideal location with ample space for a family gathering. Mike, our host, responded promptly to our questions before and during our stay. The home offered amenities both outdoors (3 seating areas with boats, bikes, fire pit, dock) and indoors (well-stocked kitchen, 3 bedrooms plus sleeper sofa, 2 1/2 bathrooms, video & board games). We would definitely stay there again.

Lakefront vaca

Our family had such a fun week at the Arrowhead Lake Escape! The location was amazing, on such a nice part of the lake. It was beautiful and peaceful! Our family loved the private beach and just spending the evenings kayaking and swimming, it was so relaxing and fun. The house had so much to keep the kids busy (games and toys). There were a few minor issues we ran into the first day or 2, that we addressed with Mike that he said he would take care of for future renters. The house had everything we needed, the location is amazing, and the community is great for families with kids!

Lake House

The house is in a quite community. The community has beaches, a gym and pool (although only open on weekends until later in the season) that we utilized. We loved the outdoor area of the house from the fire pit to the backyard and dock. Liked that we could use the kayak and stand up paddle board directly from the property. It was nice to go for a bike ride although the bikes could use some tlc. The house is pet friendly and has a game room in the basement.

A new special hideaway!

My family and I had a wonderful time here. Michael was always quick to answer any of our questions and very communicative. The home was clean and equipped with all the essentials. The view of the lake is breathtaking! We even got to see a rainbow our last day and enjoyed canoeing and kayaking on the lake with the boats provided! Definitely making it an annual place to go relax and getaway!

Breathtaking Views & Comfortable Space

Took a weekend getaway with the family and dog and had a blast. The views of the lake out all of the back windows are incredible. With a fire going in the fireplace it made for a very relaxing weekend. There were games and kids plates for the kids which was a huge help. You could tell a lot of thought was out into making this the perfect rental, and it really was. We would definitely consider renting here again, especially when it is warmer to enjoy the water.
