The elevator isnā€™t working since two yearā€™s ago and as person with disability I had my difficulty. The a/c start in on and then off with this very noisy sound that was difficult to rest and when was off the noise from outside disturb.

Parking lot was full. Dirty towels. Too noisy due to a smoke shop store inside the hotel. Because of that, people talking and loud music until 5am. My reservation was a double bed room (2 adults and 1 kid). The employee told me that there were no double rooms so they gave me 2 rooms. One remodeled and the other very deteriorated.

La propiedad estĆ” bien y es la segunda vez qhe venimos en 6 meses. Pero anoche fue un desastre. MĆ”s que un hotel parecia una vecindad. No se podĆ­a descansar que fue la razon nuestra para venir. El que maneja la tienda de cigarro estaba borracho y hablando durisimo desde las 12am. A las 4 de la maƱana comenzĆ³ a cantar con una guitarra y con un grupo de personas que le aplaudian. Llamamos al Front Desk y no pasĆ³ nada. Fue tremendo desastre. A las 5am otro huĆ©sped los enfrentĆ³ y se callaron un rato pero luego el mismo hombre comenzĆ³ a cantar a capela. De las peores noches que he pasado en un hotel. Y no habia frisa en la habitaciĆ³n .

Good to have its own parking and it is located right at the center. It is good to take pictures at the lobby, pool, and the public area. However, the room they gave us had a broken knot for hot water and no enough toilet paper. Elevator was in maintenance with no workers on sight. Carpet is not clean.

I didn't like all the ease of the room. It did not have adequate cleaning, no towel at the time of check-in, the lamps did not have bulbs, it did not have a trash can, the air conditioning made an uncomfortable noise, the customer was informed. I do not recommend it

Unfortunately it was a disaster. The hotel was dirty, no water, no wifi ! A lot of dust in the room . I got asthma from that night. Definitely not staying again there. And I donā€™t recommend to anyone. I do have pictures.

Esta propiedad aunque es antigua tiene detalles muy bonitos. Los muebles antiguos preciosos aunque los del area de la piscina necesitan arreglo. Al momento de reservar desconocia que no tenian disponible servicio de desayuno, aparentemente habia problema con la cocina algo asi me dijeron. Mi consejo deben de decirlo a los huespedes para evitar molestias. Sali por el area pero al ser viernes santo la mayoria de los lugares estaban cerrados o extrememadamente llenos por lo que me vi en la obligacion de hacer check out antes de tiempo.

The elevator was out of service. The room was in very poor conditions. The ice bucket had water with dead ants in it. The cabinet holding the tv had a broken leg. There was a collection of empty beer bottles on the balcony with cigarettes. The second day of our stay, they decided to cut out the electricity to work on the elevator. The heat was unbearable and they did not offer a room change. Other floors had electricity and there was room availability. By the way, on my way down, I noticed that the rooms on the first floor are nicer and cleaner, and the lobby is nice.

Elevator does not work. No wifi. Direct tv was not working. Cold water in the morning. Hot water at night. Runed down facility that needs a huge overhaul. Rusty doors. No attention to detail. Historic building going to ruins because of nobody paying attention. Itā€™s a shame.

Melia Century Hotel- HOTEL REVIEWS MUST BE FAKE! THIS ISN'T A 4 STARS HOTEL AND THE PICTURES THEY USE ARE NOT WHAT WE SEE 1 no one at the check-in area when we arrived 2 no hot water 3 no phone in the room to call the front desk 4 no breakfast when it says free breakfast 5 no internet 6 bed mattresses are old 7 bed dressing was subpar 8 carpet was old but clean 9 room decor was mixed stuff that didn't go together 10 restroom was old but was clean. New toilet. A big plus. the tub was old but clean, but no hot water. The shower hardware was old 11 towels are fluffy and look new 12 rooms had big flat screens tv but because the hotel didn't pay, for the direct TV account, we couldn't watch TV 13 elevator didn't work so we had to lug our luggage up and down 1 flight of stairs 14 There was a "world-class" Restaurant in the hotel but was closed for business because they didn't have a chef/ cook 15 door knob was broken and "bootlegged" fixed or replaced. We had to bar the door with our heavy suitcase ls at night 16 free parking in the back side of the hotel 17 homeless people in the vicinity of the hotel 18 Most businesses and attractions are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays- unrelated to the hotel

Stay AWAY For this HOTEL the interior will fool you !!!! This property is refusing to refund me as this experience has ruined my anniversary on Valentineā€™s Day trip to Puerto Rico. My reservation was for four days three nights we checked out the next day due to being put in a room that was so outdated and dirty the hotel had no working elevator and we was placed on 3rd floor while having a injury to my foot taking five flights of stairs , no working hot water no internet or cable so if you turn on the TV it was black and was told no good rooms could be cleaned due to lack of working employee so front desk was also doing housekeeping duties and your left waiting for front desk for over a hour. They transferred us to the sister hotel The Fox across the street which was a cheaper hotel but we paid for a king size room but at the Fox we were given a dirty room that had a full size bed no hot water and bugs filled the bathrooms they changed us to two different rooms all were horrific and still no cable air internet. I have pictures and videos. I will never stay at either hotel owned by these folks and want my stay refunded for my stay, we checked out and the front desk keeps acting like they had to consult a manager which was never seen to give us a receipt. I was never given any paperwork to sign nor receipt for nothing. Never again.

Location is perfect! But the hotel is sadly outdated. The chairs around the pool were ripped and looked disgusting. Not inviting at all. The bathroom is smaller than a closet. Bed is super hard. No phone in room, no coffee maker, no hot water. You pay for the location.

El estado del hotel horrible la ducha no funcionaba el ascensor no funcionaba las camas viejas y con manchas en las sĆ”banas nos quejamos y nos cambiaron al hotel Fox y fue mĆ”s de lo mismo sucio mala olor no funcionaba el agua caliente ni el internet y la contestaciĆ³n que nos dieron ( QUE ERAN AVERƍAS AJENAS AL HOTEL ) increĆ­ble no les daba ni una estrella lo menos que puede hacer expedĆ­a es comprobar esos alojamientos nos arruinaron los dĆ­a de vacaciones en Ponce nunca mĆ”s no se alojen ahĆ­ si no quieren arruinar sus vacaciones

This is an historical, beautiful building that can make the experience better with a very few details. We had no covers on our bed, just a thin flat sheet, not enough towels, and details like that that can be easily fixed. Lovely place!

Reservamos 1 habitaciĆ³n para 2 personas por solo 1 noche para descansar y seguir al otro dĆ­a. Nos dieron una habitaciĆ³n en 3er piso, pero el elevador no servĆ­a. HabĆ­a una actividad privada con mĆŗsica y karaoke que durĆ³ pasadas las 2am y se escuchaba todo en cuarto. El cuarto: No se pudo ver TV. El TV no se pudo usar porque al prenderlo decĆ­a ā€œque no se pagĆ³ Direct TVā€. No habĆ­a agua caliente. HabĆ­a tabla de planchar pero no habĆ­a plancha. Nos dejaron 1 sola toalla en el baƱo. El aire se apagaba de momento. Al otro dĆ­a a las 9am comenzĆ³ una persona hablando por micrĆ³fono que nos levantĆ³. En fin, no pudimos dormir por la mĆŗsica hasta la madrugada y por la actividad de las 9am. El cuarto con mobiliario viejo y hasta roto. Horrible y Terrible para un hotel MeliĆ”. No lo recomendamos.

Very outdated facility. Issues with the hot water, broken elevator, stained room carpets, no room phone, no iron machine, uncomfortable matress. The only thing excelling is that employees are very nice and customer services is good anytime.
