« Nous avons apprécié notre bref séjour dans cet endroit située en plein cœur de la New Forest. Endroit typique avec possibilité de voir des chevaux. Restaurant avec des plats de qualité pour le dîner du soir. Un petit déjeuner anglais et délicieux nous a été servi. Bien qu'en rénovation l'établissement est une belle bâtisse avec un grand parking. Le personnel est professionnel et accueillant. Je recommande cet établissement. »

« Room was spacious, great shower. However the room we were in (an upgraded room) was over the kitchen and every morning at 7am something started up and all we could hear was the hum of it which is annoying when you would like a lie in. We ate both nights in the pub. The food is good but very pricey. On our 2nd night we both had a special which was gammon, 1egg, chips, pinapple and piccalily. I pointed out that it said two eggs but we only got one each. The waiter was apologetic but just said it...

« Room was impeccably clean, staff were welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and quality food. Parking was easy to find, and there was lots of room! It was nice to walk around the village, there was so much to see and shorts walks got you seeing so much! »

« I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over. »

« Le 4/5 pour le quartier est à relativiser. Il n'y a pas grand chose dans les environs. Mais c'est pour cela que c'est bon ! En somme, excellent pour ceux qui recherchent la tranquillité du Dorset, glauque pour les "excités". »
