« We stayed a week and the house was exactly as described - very clean and of a decent size. There is a full kitchen, even though some of the pots and pans are a bit old. I liked how we could adjust the heating to our comfort. The host was very kind on the two occasions we met her. Overall, good value. »

« Cosy cottage - perfect for two and a dog. The cottage sits on its own, and has a secure gated driveway, but the added convenience of being just off the main road into Criccieth and Pwllheli, and with a mile walk to the beach. Well equipped in the main, though take your own loo rolls! Booked through Hotels.com but actually through Sykes Cottages, who offered great service on the phone. « Excellent location, within walking distance of both beach and town. Beautifully landscaped property. Clean, but room for improvement. Cobwebs everywhere. Lots of plates and glasses, but only 7 mugs, most of which were either badly chipped or cracked. Bbq was filthy, apparently hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. A manual explaining how to use the Aga stove would have been helpful. And our inability to control the heat temp locally (it was controlled remotely by the property manager) led to us...

« This was just what we wanted. Peaceful, warm, well equipped and a stunning view of the sea. Comfortable beds, bathroom with a rain head shower, kitchen with EVERYTHING you need, large TV and comfortable reclining leather sofas and dining table upstairs. LOVELY owners who were super welcoming! Enjoyed the horses and sheep! We'll be back!! »
