We really enjoyed our stay. The rental is somewhat dated but in a great location. Walking to Ptown is a little too far, but there is a bus stop in front of the rental that is free and runs to Ptown.
This is on the line between N. Truro and Provincetown. It's part of a condo complex, but this unit is ideal - it's on the end, facing the bay, and upstairs. It's not immediately on the water - you have to cross Rt. 6A to get to the water. This isn't a big deal, but you should be aware. It's a fairly busy road. There is a short staircase to the beach. But - the beach is only usable half the time. When the tide is high, the beach is basically gone. The water covers the bottom steps of the staircase. This is pretty cool, but watch the tide schedules so you know what to expect. When it's low tide, the beach becomes a collection of sand bars and it's really fun to explore and play in (but don't expect to swim - it's very shallow really far out).We had one AC installed in one of the two bedrooms. It was over 90 degrees while we were there. We found a second AC and installed it in the other bedroom. They're small units but they work. Just note "partial AC" means good luck - there's something, but no guarantees. (Before we found the other unit, we chatted with the support and they basically said "the listing says partial so you get what you get.")It says this condo is "updated." I find that hard to believe. The kitchen and bathroom are not at all modern. I would believe there's new paint, maybe windows, blinds, and decor. There's a porch with small table and 4 chairs facing the bay!
When I arrived, the carpet in the living room was disgusting - very dirty. I rolled it up and put it aside, afraid to walk on it. I always wash the dishes before use, and I started the dishwasher and all of a suddent there was water and suds all over the floor. There was no mop so I had to use paper towels and bath towels to clean it up. The next morning I pulled back the shower curtain to take my shower and the shower rod came down and hit me in the head. I went to put it back up and tighten it and it would not tighten - obviously whomever is responsible for cleaning would have known it was loose (unless they didn't clean) and yet had no regard for the fact someone could get hurt. I reached out to the company through vrbo - a man came the next day and replaced the rod, could not fix the dishwasher. The oven was caked very thick with black stuff, as were the pots and pans so I could not cook any meals for my son. The people came to clean the oven and could not because of how much stuff was caked in there. There was no other vrbo place they could switch me to, so they said. I thought okay - I must have found everything wrong so now could relax - but the next three days - they were replacing the roof! So much hammering and ripping up - which was never mentioned to me would be happening. I stay in many places in Provincetown to visit my son and this is the worst place ever! I received a very small portion of my money back, it should have been free for all they put me through!
Everything was good except the mattresses are super hard. Also it wasn't fun for my family that Provincetown was plum full of transvestite people and gay people
Had a nice stay at this condo. Itâs about a 25 minute walk to all the shops and restaurants but if the weather is fine, itâs not bad. I didnât give a perfect rating because the condo was outdated with finishings and the coffee maker was kinda cheap and flimsy. Beds were comfortable, and plenty of towels. Nice waterfront view from the living room area.
This listing is inaccurate. Letâs begin with the filthy living room furniture, which we were unable to use for the entire stay. Also, says air conditioned, which is not accurate. There are only two window units in the bedrooms. VRBO and VACASA did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to assist in making things right. I canât begin to tell you how disappointing this condo was in reality. Vacasa said they would send someone to steam clean and then texted to say there was no team available. This is shocking considering the size of their company. Spent well over three hours with VRBO and they only offered a $150 refund, which their fee was over $300. Vacasa added insult to injury with a $100 refund. I spent over $2800 for this place based on their inaccurate listing. Also, bring your own coat hangers. However, one bedroom closet is packed with crap and has no room for your clothing. The Bradyâs from 1970 called and want their condo back. The location is great and there is a beautiful updated condo below this one, which I would highly recommend you rent.
We loved this little condo - pictures are totally accurate and so wonderful to have such a gorgeous view. Feels even a little more spacious than the photos because the two bedrooms are down a long hallway. We walked to the East End Market multiple times for coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches. Also walked to Fanizzi's for a lovely dinner, and all the way into town to hang out and have a delicious lunch at Patio. And can walk down Snail Road and get to the National Seashore! Lovely all around and great friendly neighbors.
Pics not accurate at all. Bathroom is from the 1970s- kitchen, maybe the 1980s. Old, uncomfortable furniture. Thin, cheap blankets. The cheapest TP and PT. Scratchy, zero quality towels. Dirty cups & plates in cabinets. Stink bugs in kitchen & bedroom. Absolutely ZERO communication with management until my stay was almost over. Will never recommend or stay at a place managed by Vacasa again. Ever. Almost $600 for 2 nights in the dead of winter. What a total joke in a crappy, run down condo.
Clean, nicely appointed, beautiful view, great location, access to clean, swimmable beach across the street, everything you need to cook including some spices, oil, vinegar, etc. TV and WIFI was good. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood. One issue: In the photo of the condo, a hand-held shower head is pictured but there isn't one and there is no hair dryer. Other than that, we loved the place.
We were very happy with our accommodations. Great quiet location. Right across from the street from the beach. Everything was okay.
Few things missing, night light in bathroom, the clock needed a battery, all of which I fixed. Major problem with the internet. Check if works, especially if you are a tv watcher, or want the internet.
