Overall, we had a very nice time. The house has incredible views, was very clean, had an excellent kitchen and is ideally located for beach and town activities. That said, for the price, there are some shortcomings that you should know before booking: First, the third bedroom is described as on the "ground floor", but it is more like a basement. It is mostly dark because the main floor deck extends far over its window blocking most of the light and view (not sure how they took that light filled photo), and the room is next to the garage and laundry room (which has a lot of buzzing noise coming from it). It is musty. Second, there are no screens on any of the windows. We wanted to sleep with cool ocean breezes but couldn't because there are tons of mosquitoes (not unusual for P'town). Third, there is very limited seating in the living room. No couch (which is clear from the photos but we missed that). So no place to lie around indoors, which to me was a problem. You can sit in one of 4 comfortable armchairs or lie on a very large rather unattractive beanbag. It was kind of odd. Fourth, the grill is pathetic. We rented three houses in P'town this summer and this was by far the cheapest, smallest, no frills grill of all the houses -- and this house was by far the most expensive rental. Fifth, while there were very nice beach towels, there were only three very cheap beach chairs. We bought our own to use.
All of these issues are not huge and we had a nice time, but I felt I needed to explain them so future renters understand that them.
