Playa Encanto - Meilleure plage de Rocky Point!

  • Playa Encanto est la plus belle plage de la région. Venez séjourner dans notre appartement privé sur la plage, sur la magnifique plage de sable fin de Playa Encanto.

    Cet appartement est au deuxième étage avec seulement un accès d'escalier. Il est situé derrière la maison principale et à environ 50 marches de la plage. La maison principale est en bord de mer. Nous ne louons pas la maison de plage et encourageons nos clients à utiliser le patio en bord de mer de la maison principale (photo).

    Il s'agit d'un appartement situé à l'étage situé derrière la maison principale. L'appartement peut accueillir quatre personnes dans deux lits queen size confortables. Il y a une chambre et l'autre lit se trouve dans la pièce principale derrière un mur de poney, idéal pour les enfants. Les personnes supplémentaires séjournant à la maison seront facturées 25 $ par personne et par nuit. Ce sera déduit de la caution. Il y a aussi une salle de bain avec douche. Actuellement, il n'y a pas de wifi disponible à la maison. Le stationnement est dans la rue en face de la maison. Notre communauté gardée est en sécurité.

    Contrairement à la ville, notre eau nous est livrée. Il y a deux réservoirs d'eau de 500 gallons disponibles pour la location. Toute utilisation au-dessus de deux réservoirs pendant une période de 2 nuits / trois jours sera la responsabilité financière du locataire pour le remplissage. Si vous restez 6 nuits, la deuxième recharge fait partie du contrat de location, mais une troisième recharge est à la charge du locataire. Toutes les recharges de réservoir d’eau sont payées en espèces.

    Nous fournissons un barbecue à gaz et des meubles de patio qui peuvent être déplacés vers le patio de la maison principale pour une vue fantastique. Le barbecue à gaz est situé dans la cour sous les escaliers. S'il vous plaît apporter vos propres chaises de plage et serviettes de plage.

    Voyage 10 miles en voiture à Puerto Penasco pour la vie nocturne et le marché du poisson et bibelot. Plusieurs excellents restaurants sont situés là. Voilà à quelle distance cette communauté de plage est de l'agitation de la ville de Puerto Penasco. Mais en réalité, il est à seulement 15 minutes en voiture.

The location of the property and the location of the key were not disclosed accurately so it took a long time to get checked in. After a long drive and lots of traffic this was kind of annoying. But the trip and stay was just what we needed.

Week at the beach

We had a great (but too short) vacation in Playa Encanto. This property has great beach access to the best beach in Rocky Point. The place has colorful tile in the kitchen and bathroom and all the amenities we needed for a week at the beach.

Playa Encanto

The property was a little lacking in amenities. Was sweltering hot when we arrived and the two air conditioners took 6 or 7 hours just to cool place down to 80 or so. BUT THE BEACH IS EVERYTHING IT WAS SAID TO BE! Totally worth it! Looking forward to going again!

Fantastic clean quiet beach, nice little casa

Very pretty little upstairs apartment. Pretty much has what you need. We didn't bother with the TV or wifi, so can't speak to that. It's not five star hotel clean, but I'm a clean freak and I felt totally comfortable. The beach is just unbeatable for solitude and nature. LOVED IT!! Thank you!!

Great Stay and unbearable price

The property itself was right on the beach, which was amazing. We went over spring break and truly there was almost no one on the beach. A couple tips I could mention: as you entering on the main drag, you will turn at on atuna and then you are directly in front of the property. The property itself was clean, and just as you expected with all the kitchen items you needed to make your meals. There is an excellent Taco stand at the entrance and she is there from 8:30-4pm daily. I would highly recommend the piña colada. It is quite an ordeal for her to get the blender going, but so good! Loved her stay for such an amazing price, we will definitely be back!

Spacious Apartment

The apartment is conveniently located just behind the beach house, above the garage. There is a small patio to enjoy eating out of doors. It was more spacious than expected with new sheets and extra blankets. It was difficult to ignore the plastic coving the box spring and mattress, beyond looking rather sad the noise with every turn was noticeable. The water stained curtains definitely needed attention and the kitchen could use a bit more cleaning, I know how difficult it is to get good help...We could not see the view toward the beach since the windows had not been cleaned in a while but the location was great and we would recommend and definitely stay again.

Great time for Thanksgiving 2023.

Stayed here many times. Enjoy the location and the proximity to the beach. Wife had messaged the owner about being short some bath towels and they were brought over. Thank you for that. Just wanted to bring a small detail to your attention. There was some dog hair on the floor by the one bed. We are completely fine with it because we have a dog as well. Just wanted to pass it along in case you need to address it. Definitely will be back. Thanks! 😄

A nice place in Playa Encanto.

The wife and I enjoy staying at this place. Far enough away from everything but close enough if you need something. A few things : We had to use a couple of towels from those bags marked for Miguel Sanchez. Needed a dish towel and one to dry hands. The carbon monoxide plug in alarm was beeping upon arrival. I think the batteries might be bad in the smoke alarm as well. Just wanted to let you guys know. Just little stuff. Definitely will be back. Thank you.

Great beach but Omg ….really?

Apartment was a nice set up. Really hard to open lockbox to get the key. Beautiful view but Windows so salty you could not see out. Power went out. Could not get a response through Vrbo messaging of host but a call was returned and power was restored in about three hours. Exterior of courtyard not maintained. Was locked out and couldn’t get a response from host at all. Neighbors helped out. a very nice neighbor found someone who had a key. Thank God! We did find a sign tucked beside the fireplace stating to take key with you as you might get locked out. Apparently this is a common occurrence as the door locks itself quite often. It had happened just the week before and again the neighbors said they had to help at that time as well. Seating inside was very very uncomfortable but the beds were good. Tv was the size of a computer monitor The beach was accessible beautiful and very private.

Dirty and run down

When we arrived we were surprised at how dirty the place was. The refrigerator was filthy, all counters in the kitchen and bathroom needed cleaning, and there was literally up to 1/4" of sand on every window sill. The curtains in the bedroom were torn and stained and the top sheet on the bed was obviously one size too small because it barely covered the mattress. Within about an hour we had no water and that lasted for 20+ hours until they could get the water pump fixed (the host refunded 70% of the first night cost but also told us that everyone has cockroaches). The first 24 hours in the space we killed 5 large cockroaches. We actually went into Rocky Point and bought spray cleaner to clean the counters and fridge. I have pictures to back up all of these issues. The beach is very nice and there are very few people on it. The host encourages using the upstairs balcony on the house in front, but the spiral staircase is in such bad shape that pieces of concrete are falling off so we did not go up there. We did use the ground level front porch which provides some nice shade. In summary: the beach is good but this space needs serious cleaning and updating.

Aside from a minor air-conditioning issue, the view was great. The beach was deserted and we had it almost all to ourselves. I am considering using this property again in December.

Overall Good

The property is pretty much as advertised. Had everything we needed. Steps from the beach. Needs some TLC but good for the price. The property manager was prompt in responding to a minor water leak that resolved itself. The biggest thing is that it needs screens for the windows and door to keep out flies.

Would NOT stay here

We had a terrible experience here and I would not recommend. First, it is roach-infested. We found them everywhere, even floating in our pup's water bowl in the morning. I wish I could upload photos with this review. The apartment sits on top of a vacant garage, and I'm guessing that's where they come from. Coincidentally, if you look at aerial photo you'll see that this stretch of beach sits in front of a marsh. There are tons of mosquitos (so bring bug spray). Second, the toilet didn't flush, which ultimately led to no water in the place at all. I told the owner Michaela about the toilet when we got there -- who to her credit was always very responsive -- and she had someone come out the next day to repair it. They showed up a few hours after they were supposed to, and their "repair" made the toilet run constantly. Because the property has a fixed water source, we woke up the next day to having NO water in the place - it apparently all leaked out via the running toilet. We were therefore forced to leave with no showers or anything else that required water. Finally, there are two A/C units in the apartment, and one of them (the main one) didn't work. As such, it blew hot air and never got below 92 degrees F in the main area (living room, kitchen, bathroom, and open bed area). The heat combined with the humidity rendered the area unbearable. It was too hot to cook, eat, or even hang out. Thus, we were relegated to spending all of our time in the small bedroom with the door closed. The same guys who came to fix the toilet also looked at the A/C unit and confirmed that the condenser was bad and could not be repaired (at least, not while we were there). While the owner was very nice and always responsive, her response to all of this was "Sorry, our usual property manager went out of town so we have to depend on back-ups." Which, of course, is no consolation to the people paying good money to stay there.
