We enjoyed our stay at this home in Punta Gorda. The location was perfect for us. It was close to all the places we like to visit and the neighborhood was quiet. The home was very clean when we arrived with all the essentials that we needed. The property manager was very responsive when we had questions, and solved our needs immediately. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The living room furniture however was not the most comfortable for us. We struggled a bit with the air conditioner finding a comfortable temperature-which required contacting the property manager to make adjustments to the thermostat that we did not have direct access to. Overall it was a very nice stay and would consider this home again in the future.

Nice Vacation spot in PGI

Overall, my experience was pleasant, we were close to all amenities and the airport. The homeowner as well as caretaker were very attentive to our needs and always quick to respond if we had a question or concern during our stay.

Lovely home

Home was clean and welcoming. There is a scratch on the kitchen glass table when we arrived. Tv situation was confusing and disappointing. The hot water was lukewarm at best. Otherwise a beautiful maintained property and will book again if items listed are improved.

Very nice, super clean!

Very nice and clean. Plenty utensils and nice appliances in kitchen. Beds comfy, lots of seating. Nice neighborhood. Pool was inviting, bring your own beach towels. Has a washer and dryer and most everything you need. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Too Restrictive

The advertisement for the property showed a boat lift but when we arrived it was padlocked. We had to call to get the combination lock to enter but there was a second combination lock that no one had the combination for. We waited half an hour for them to figure out how to get in. The thermostat was locked and we could not access it so the master was too warm in July. The place was nice and very clean but not accommodating.

Very average

Nothing special about this place. No lounge chairs in the lanai. Very odd layout in the house and it does not say it but bring your own entertainment. No even local tv channels. You must log into your own streaming.

Punta Gorda

Beautiful location and close by to several places of interest.A few minor hiccups which were addressed on first day but continued on the stay with various emails to ask how things were going but no reply back. Only has time to stay for five days but bought another house nearby so I guess you could say we liked it there in Punta Gorda!

Senior Citizen Getaway

Overall experience was excellent. Everything pictured on the web site was accurate. Indoor pool on a canal fantastic. I had been a resident of Punta Gorda for over 20 years but had to move up north so this was a home coming. The location is ideally located for all activities. Harbor, restaurants, parks, trails, close by. Ease of check in and out was a pleasure. I would have given it 5 stars except for a minor blip. I was never able to get on their Wifi. Many communications with the people involved but it was never resolved. One of the roadblocks was the info sent to me differed from the info in the welcoming booklet in the house which differed from a wall posting of the wifi info also, somewhat confusing. After a couple of days a maintenance visit was promised but they never arrived. Thankfully this was not a deal breaker but should be corrected for future guests. Thank heavens for my Iphone. Highly recommend this unit for a short or long stay. 4.8 out of 5 stars.

Great location, but not ready for prime time. Communication issues

Pros: Awesome, super quiet neighborhood. Easy to get to/from. Nice house layout, pool, patio. Plenty of room to gather together. Great coffee pot. Loved the showers. Cons: Trash and Recycle bins were full when we checked in. Listing was not accurate, as there was no way to park a car in the garage due to pool table on right, low hanging light on left. Only 1 hand towel provided. White towels had yellow stains. No kitchen linens. One pillow per person provided. There were extra pillows, but no pillow slips. Bathrooms/Bedrooms had light bulbs that were out (reported to contact, but she never came to replace them). I washed the sheets, as they just didn't smell clean, A/C kept going to "cool at 66 degrees" each evening. Had to keep turning it up to 72. Beds way TOO SOFT! Communication: Miscommunication on payment for pool heater, probably due to OUR changing the dates from January to February, then March for medical issues. Had to speak to Evolve prior to stay as our payments weren't scheduled to be taken until after our stay. They were taken care of. Summary: Essentials covered, but does not compare to other houses/condos we've rented. I wanted a 2 Bedroom/2Bath location to possibly rebook, but will look at other options in the area. We have used Evolve in the past, and I will continue to prefer their listings.

Beautiful Home with Beautiful View

I had to call and get the pool cleaned. It was handled immediately. I received a call stating I could not smoke on the property not just inside the home. That is ridiculous. My printed reservation stated Home. Once there, after being watched and called, it stated differently in the paperwork in the home. There was no grill, so I got permission for my friends to bring a grill. Another call, Don't forget to clean up the grill immediately after it arrived. Being watched again and it wasn't the properties grill anyway. There were no hot pads to use the oven and only one dish towel. I can deal with everything other than being constantly watched and called at 60 years old. I wouldn't recommend this property to any of my friends due to this.

Very clean and was useful for our purpose. We needed a place to stay for the move out of a damaged condo in the storm. It was close and much more economical than the hotels at this time. My mother has back issues and the availability of seating/sleeping was excellent. My only concern is the communication regarding specifics. Received an initial welcome letter that had all the information regarding the condo. Then received text updates that really did not have anything other than reminders. Suggestion to property management for text: 1 Address 2 entry code 3 Internet information in the text before arrival as a reminder. Circumstances would find helpful instead of searching through emails. If you are going to take the time, the reminders of hey and enjoy are lacking the value of content. The book should also have the details of the internet and not a mention of the info on the counter. The TV selection was minimal. I would suggest bringing your own streaming device for easy set up ensuring that you have your favorite channels. The info was not on the counter. The thermostat was controlled remotely and with the temperature dip, we would have preferred heat. Those were minor things and the property management was very responsive to our needs. This is an A property overall.

Nice clean small house.

Beautiful small house. With a nice pool and patio. Pool table in garage was a bonus for the children. New appliances and fresh updates. Only2 bedrooms and 3 beds that are made. The sofa works nice as a bed .

Perfect Family Home

I was extremely pleased with our stay, plenty of room for my family of 7. Quiet community that’s not super crowded since it’s not right at the beach, but an hour drive gets you to Siesta Key Beach, which was our absolute favorite. Comfy beds, updated appliances, and a good amount of dishes and cookware. The only downside was some giant ants and baby lizards inside the house. 😅 We will definitely check the availability of this home the next time we make a Florida trip!
