« This was our second year staying in the train cars at Doolittle Station. Last year, we stayed in the Blue Caboose and this year in The Artiste. We prefer the Blue Caboose hands down over the Artiste. Cleaner, better laid out, and better stocked. « We really loved staying in the presidential car, you can tell just how much care and work has gone into the life of this car, the attached bathroom was so beautiful. Truly an amazing job.Our pain point was the amenities on site, our plan was to get in and stay at the park all day. But the restaurant was closed, the mini golf was a bit sad and hard to walk, we gave up before the 9th hole. The ice-cream store was musty and the food options were disappointing. « The property exceeded my expectations. It is a new property with a terrific outdoor deck and a huge field attached to it that borders the river. The kitchen was spacious, the bedrooms were good sized and it was a terrific location. I had to reach out to the owner for a detail I missed and he responded immediately. I’d recommend this place if you are planning on staying in Clearfield. »
