« Mel’s Retreat was a very comfortable Suite to stay. Beautiful area, well furnished suite, and well worth the stay. Mel had more than one could ask for for a continental breakfast.Well worth the stay. Only thing I would comment on is it is a little tight for space. »

« Had arrived late in Waitomo, friendly greeting by hosts whom were very accommodating showing the suite and property grounds should I wish to take evening stroll. Was an early start next morning but super easy to check out after wonderful nights sleep. Would definitely stay again if in area very central to all the activities. Thank you »

« Mel was the most wonderful host. We loved all of her extra touches abs generous offering of food and treats. She thought of every detail for a delightful stay. The setting was beautiful and it was so great to meet all of the sweet farm animals. The room was lovely, very comfortable, and immaculate.
