« Great property for our 2 night stay. Hobbiton around 20 minutes away by car. Plenty of restaurants in nearby Matamata. We particularly liked The Osteria recommended by Kylie our host. The property is spotlessly clean. Kylie provided us with a continental breakfast with freshly baked bread and homemade yoghurt. Kylie was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend »

« Perfect little unit for a couple nights stay, great location, only a couple minutes walk to Papamoa Plaza and local brewery "The Island" which is great for families with kids! Amazing pizza too :) Came in winter so didn't get to check out the beach but it was in walking distance too. Unit was well equipped and clean. Easy check in and check out. Thanks Matt for a lovely stay :) »

« Matata Way appears on google maps but apparently does not exist. There was no signage for Matata anywhere, not even on the building. It was only as we walked down the driveway that we were told we had arrived.The unit itself was good, warm and well stocked. We were very comfortable. »

« This is one of the best tiny home accommodation experiences. The tiny home itself is very modern and all the minor details and extras were much appreciated! Located on a farm that makes you feel like you really are in New Zealand! « Lovely little bach for girls weekend escape. Had everything you need and tidy and clean. The lounge and kitchen is smaller to the pictures but it’s was lovely and cosy. Highly recommend if you’re wanting to be by lake and away from hustle and bustle of main Rotorua town. »
