Nous sommes restés deux nuits et tout était parfait. Alexander fait son maximum pour que tout se passe bien. La chambre était grande et nickel, le petit déjeuner très bon. A 2 minutes à pieds des restaurants de la Ronda

Un Hôtel parfait !
Un Hôtel idéalement situé au cœur du centre historique et à quelques mètres de la Ronda rue Morales et tous ses restaurants typiques de Quito. L'hôtel est très bien tenu, très propres, les chambres sont très confortables, le petit déjeuner servi face au Panecillo est tout simplement succulent et copieux. La famille propriétaire et tous les employés seront aux petits soins pour vous rendre un séjour exceptionnel à Quito. J'ai adoré cet établissement. Alain

An interesting hotel in a great location within walking distance of all the sites in the old town. A beautiful courtyard for relaxing in and generous sized rooms. Friendly helpful staff.

Recommended due to price and location. No frills.
The energy was very low in the hotel. There was no water glasses in the rooms and no ice. Also even though there was a coffee pot in the courtyard near the desk it never had any coffee. The breakfast was nothing special but the rooms were comfortable and nice. The location is ideal but a little scary after dark.

The hotel has large bedrooms and a lovely inner courtyard. It was clean and the staff were very attentive. Breakfast was excellent and the location is fabulous for walking to all the sites in the old town.

Charming hotel close to centre
Helpful staff, charming hotel with lovely central covered courtyard & breakfast room on top floor. Spacious rooms but the windows of rooms face out onto the courtyard so mine was a little noisy as it was near reception. Free drinking water, tea & coffee but no lift. Easy walk to city centre.

I had a wonderful two night stay here. I used there pickup service from the airport with no issues even though I was delayed by two hours. Even when I arrived at 3am someone was there to greet me at the front desk. Breakfast was great….juice, choice of eggs, bread and fruit. Had filtered water in the lobby for free. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m in Quito.

Hotel Casa Montero is a great place to stay when travelling to Quito. Located in a historical part, everything close by, in walking distance ( market, plazza, churches). Highly recommended to stay. Alexander is a great person and was ready to help with everything.

Excellent hotel. Great staff. Location easy walking to all sites and restaurants. Breakfast timely and filling. Room was large with bed, sofa, desk, chairs, large closet. Hot water shower was great. Highly recommend.

Medianamente aceptable
El hotel es bonito pero creo que le falta vida. Alexander fue la única persona que conocí con un gran sentido de servicio. El internet falló todo el tiempo y la tv tenía tantos canales programados de los cuales exageradamente pocos se veían. La cama muy cómoda, muy buena regadera, escasas amenidades de jabón, shampoo y botella de agua. Ubicación céntrica. Deben de tener más cuidado con la limpieza de sus cubiertos y vajillas.

This hotel is wonderful and such a great value. Our flight arrived early in the morning and we went to the hotel intending to just drop off our luggage. Instead, they checked us in right away, no questions asked. We had a standard room facing the plaza with a balcony. The hotel is a remodeled colonial home and has amazing historical charm. It’s also very close to Calle de la Ronda and other major sites in the historic center of the city. Their free breakfast is also wonderful! Fresh fruit, juice, jam, and toast with two eggs however you want them booked. So happy we stayed here.

We stayed at the Casa Montero either side of a trip to Galapagos and it was exceptional. The staff couldn’t have done more to make our stay comfortable, down to providing a heater for the room and organising an Uber pick up from nearby the hotel. The hotel is secure and in a great location opposite Plaza Santo Domingo. It is an easy walk to the main sites in Centro Historico and a range of restaurants - plus a laundry - are just around the corner. Breakfast included to kick start the day; the wifi was strong throughout and the water was piping hot. From our perspective, the perfect place to use as a base when exploring Quito or further afield. Would definitely stay there again if back in Ecuador.

We spent 5 nights at casa montero. It’s a family owned hotel that we found to be perfect for us in Old Town Quito right on Santo Domingo Square. Host met all our needs and we’re extremely courteous. We loved our stay and would recommend.

Great location - a short walk (~12 min) to the Plaza Grande. A well-maintained, clean property with very helpful staff. If you get a room in the front of the hotel, you'll have a view of Plaza Sanyo Domingo. A highlight is breakfast where you can enjoy a great view of El Panecillo.

He Casa Montero is located in the heart of the historic center of Quito so it is very easy to get to all the “sights” just by walking. More importantly, I felt like I was. It just staying in a hotel, but that I had been invited into the home of a welcoming family. Alex was a great host!

The staff (the gentleman working reception desk and who appeared to do everything at hotel) was very accommodating- provided a space heater when requested and printed out travel document for me. The location is great- very close to La Ronda and literally on Plaza Domingo. The hotel itself is charming and the breakfast area has amazing views of El Panecillo. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a vanity table that worked well as a desk. The only downside was room had no windows and lighting was not that bright, especially to work on computer. Also, the internet connection in the room was not that great so I would also go out to the lobby to work as the connection was better there. I wish I had gotten one of the rooms with balcony/windows as my room without windows was a little claustrophobic even though it was good sized room.

The staff was warm, friendly, hospitable, and helpful. Breakfast was homemade, of good quality, and tasty. The hotel room itself was roomy, had a comfortable bed, and a nice shower. Perfect location if you want to explore the historic center, and easily navigate back to your hotel each day. All in all, great price/value for what you get.

The hospitality by the owner, Alexander, and the staff was incredible. They really made me feel at home, especially during COVID. The interior of the hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spacious. Don't hesitate to stay here.
