Horrible experience with Setai , it was 105 degrees outside and the air conditioning in our room did not work I asked the maintenance to fix it while I’m at the pool they said they fixed it but when i came back to the room it was like a stove inside the room , ask them to fix it 4 times and they was not able to do so, on the top of that the shower was blockage and the water got into the entire room when we took a shower. When we finally wanted to leave the room we asked for transportation to the reception to do the check in and we waited 40 min but no one showed up so me and my pregnant wife had to walk 10 min in the heat to get there so we can finally finish with this nightmare .

Service déplorable, pas au niveau d’un 5 étoiles
Belle hotel, villa a avec piscine privée agréable mais service déplorable, vous attendez 45 minutes pour une boisson; au petit déjeuner vous etes les uns sur les autres et on vous envoie allez chercher votre café vous même. Vous finissez par tout faire vous même. Au vu du prix de la nuit payé c’est assez scandaleux. Autant louer une villa avec piscine d’un particulier.

We had a wonderful stay at The Setai. During our stay, the chef, Tzvi, was very welcoming and made our stay even better. I really appreciated Tsvi’s hospitality- he made sure we were enjoying our stay and it was great to see how passionate he was about his work. His food and service were top-notch and I would definitely visit the hotel again!

The entire Staff was incredible, the life Gaurd Shemon wqs always going the extra mile. Tzvika the chef and his staff was always very friendly and accommodating. Eli, Nur, Sahar, And all the manawas always there to ask if we need anything. Will come back again and again

This hotel needs good management. The grounds are shabby and the rooms Are clean but worn. The staff never smiles. We had to tell a manager to clear some tables for others to sit. Not we’ll run.

My view was blocked by overgrown not taken care lawn nothing like the pictures....was promised to put me on the second floor, and whenever i checked on the change they kept saying later.... very upsetting

Dear Samuel , The hotel is in the middle of a nature reserve, we don't have a view from the rooms towards the Kinneret.Between us and the Kinneret there is vegetation that we cannot touch as you were told in the reception.The room you booked is a pool room, rooms on the second floor are Jacuzzi rooms - a different category from what you booked.

Worst service in beautiful setting
Setting is beautiful…. That being said the service was absolutely horrendous. . Check just demanded passport , no pleasantries or information related to hotel. . A cart takes you to the room , driver / bellboy didn’t even offer to bring luggage to the room, he just dumped luggage and left. . Spa is a whole story , but in short treatment rooms open right up to public area. No robes, towels , slippers offered. If you as they do have lockers. Wouldn’t allow us to put treatments on our room. Same as other staff … no information offered zero customer service. . Pool - no one man’s a towel or lounge chair area. We found a waiter and he said there are no more lounge chair covers available. Looks like they lay them out in the morning and leave form there. Waited a half hour for a menu and then no one returned to take an order. On the way out we asked the serve what was going on …. He said better to get a drink in the lounge. . We head to the lounge, sever openly yawn upon our order ( simple straight forward glass of wine and salad). Asked for olives three times and they came out 45 min later. . Morning breakfast coffee was served in cheap disposable cups. ( keep in mind rooms were close to $800 a night ). . Decided to sit in our balcony and juts relax there. Within 5 minutes the cleaner for the room next door threw buckets of water on the half wall that divides the rooms. I got covered in dirty ( sponga) water. . Maintenance Is terrible.

Do not waste your money! We had great expectations for this hotel. The rooms and bathrooms were not well maintained, the staff and service were not the standard of a 5 star resort. Most of the staff were unable to communicate in English. We travelled with 3 teenagers and were told one of the rooms would have 2 twin beds and a sofa bed. The room had a king bed (which we were told could be split) and they were unable to do so. The gym had dirty towels and garbage on the floor. This was the first time staying at a Setai resort and will likely be the last.

Service ignoble! Tout d’abord l’accueil, avec une attente interminable, rien n’est géré! On nous fait attendre 15min sous 40 degrés pour enfin nous conduire à notre chambre! Propreté à revoir! Salle de bain salle et ménage fait à moitié à l’arrivée dans la chambre, les wc encore sales! Room service déplorable, reçue les repas dans des sacs en plastique! Facturé les glaçons demandés! Ou se trouve le service d’un 5 étoiles?! Supplément payé pour un bébé mais ils n’ont pas voulu me donner de lit bébé alors que j’ai appelé avant la réservation et on m’a dit que j’en disposerai d’un ! Carrelage cassé, biensur j’ai glissé et tombe dessus! Lorsque l’on demande de parler au responsable, on me dit qu’il n’y a pas de responsable ici et que « le message sera passé au responsable » Et pour finir a 1h avant le Check out on nous appelle déjà pour laisser la chambre! Ainsi que les personnes de ménages qui attendent devant notre chambre déjà 1h avant! Une honte pour un 5 étoiles qui vous facture plus de 500€ la nuit avec un service aussi écœurant! Fuyez cet hôtel! Le seul avantage c’est la piscine privée et le + le petit déjeuner mais tout le reste est à fuir!
