« Well, it did not feel like a resort. It was mostly like a trailer park with tents, cabins and trailers. I think the property needs to have a landscaping consultant to evaluate and redesign it to feel more like a resort. Also hard to find entrance off Hwy44 at night as the sign is faded and without any lighting. »

« Great location for a family reunion. Lots of space to gather together, but nice to have the cabins as personal space. We had a great time, cooked in every night, hiked and boated during the day. Kitchen facilities are very nice although we had some trouble getting the ovens to work but suspect that was operator error. The host was very responsive to all our communications and quickly got back to us about any questions we had. Beautiful location, would happily come back here! »

« My partner and I stayed in this great unit for Alumni weekend. Kitchen has all you need. Bathroom is great. Bed is lower than normal for me, my 50 year old alumni body made do! My partner played in the Alumni lacrosse game - easy drive and location to everything you could imagine fun in Chico. Great alleyway parking area.Well lit at night which I loved. Great drapes. AC worked wonderfully. The stay was super pleasant and quiet at night. Decor inside is pleasant, modern with some 70 cool vibes....

The location is within walking/biking distance of CSU Chico downtown, and Bidwell Park. As older non college students, we didn't feel out of place at all. « Our time at The Quonset Hut was nothing short of amazing! Beautifully remodeled and decorated, this place has everything you need and more! A comfortable bed, well stocked kitchen and bathroom, and even a washer/ dryer if needed. We loved the location and ease of getting to downtown. Our host was excellent and responded quickly to all questions! We hope to stay here every time we visit!! »
