Mattie's Loft - Escape to Coldharbour Farm, our home, for a quiet peaceful retreat, nestled on the scenic Greensand Ridge in the Surrey Hills AONL. Enjoy stunning views and tranquil gardens, choose from one of three integral annex guest suites, each with its own private entrance and private courtyard garden. Walk or cycle to top-rated country pubs. With access to a natural swimming lake, sauna, and miles of countryside trails, it’s the perfect rural retreat. Partying and loud music is not welcome.

During your stay, why not walk/cycle south until you reach the Bell at Outwood, recently named in the top 35 pubs in England! Or along the Greensands way until you reach the Fox and Hounds in Tilburstow Hill or a little further to the Barley Mow in Tandridge, all well worth the effort.

Mattie's Loft - minimum 2 x night stay at weekends/during peak season - is an attached guest suite to the main house, with EV charging (£25 additional cost per charge) and its own private entrance with key safe, boasting a private secure courtyard garden suitable for pets (£47 additional cost per pet per stay) with a log fired hot tub (£67 per stay/per week) It features a double ensuite bedroom with Smart TV, a selection of board games, plus a kitchenette which has a Nespresso machine, fridge, microwave/combi oven, hob and dishwasher. Guests have shared use of the lake garden and filtered, spring fed, 30m x 8m natural swimming lake.

We are a pet friendly destination, however, dogs are not allowed to enter the lake and are not permitted in the lake garden, even on the lead, which is our only dog free zone on the farm.

The historic village of Bletchingley is a 15 min walk, which boasts 3 pubs, a coffee shop, a convenience store and a few independent stores, Godstone is a 30min walk or 5min drive with similar amenities and great eateries.

'Godstone Farm' is less than a mile away and is a great day out for a family with children 0-12yrs old.

There are several glorious walks to country pubs and villages, ranging from 30mins to 1h30m. Coldharbour farm is on the 'Greensands Way' and the 'North Downs Way' can be accessed from the north of Bletchingley for walking, and are a favourite of mine for mountain biking!

The towns of Oxted and Redhill/Reigate are 20mins drive by car, which offer outstanding eateries catering for all tastes, a good selection of chains and independents, wine bars and cinemas. (Book restaurants well in advance to avoid disappointment)

Hever Castle is 40 mins by car, and there are several National Trust destinations well worth a visit, all within an hour’s drive, most notably perhaps 'Chartwell', Churchills' country estate.

There are mainline train stations to London from Redhill and Oxted each taking approx. 35mins, you can travel to Gatwick and Brighton from Redhill.
Gatwick is 30mins by car.

Early check in and late check out are available for an additional £25 up to 2 hours, £45 up 2-4 hours, or £65 4-6 hours subject to availability.
