There is 67 stairs from the ground to the top floor where the top bedroom is. We had our mother who’s in her 80s. I’m in pretty good shape, but it was difficult. There’s two people that didn’t come. « My husband and I stayed at villa #2 for 5 nights. It was just as described on the listing (large and spacious) in a very quite area just minutes from Cahuita. Mornings were spent hiking trails in nearby parks. « I loved this place. We had a great stay. A few things to note: all rooms face the outside. Like a motel. Kitchens/living rooms are outside too. Mosquitos everywhere. To be expected but best to prepare ahead of time. Pool was nice to have. It was hard to keep steps clean because they were outside but they were very clean when we got there. « Beautiful house and property tucked right in the jungle, with direct beach access. Very close to Punta Uva which has great swimming and surfing for kids. Easy drive to Puerto Viejo for restaurants. Super clean, very well maintained, good A/C. Hosts were extremely helpful and responsive - they organized a private driver from SJO to the house, and then to the car rental the next day. Highly recommend! »

« The lodging and grounds were beautiful and it’s so obvious how much love and time Daniel and Renata have put into their wonderful vacation accommodations. We saw so many birds, Toucan’s, a sloth, agouti’s, and even a caiman in their lagoon. They answered all of our questions, made great arrangements for tours, and made sure we had everything we needed daily! After a long day of hiking, etc. it was so refreshing to end the day with a swim in the pool. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks...

We loved the outdoor spaces and it worked out well for us to have the separate rooms downstairs, it gave my daughter and her partner privacy while I was upstairs with her teenagers. « This was THE best stay we've ever had in CR. I couldn't say enjoy great things about this place. We had local food delivered from one of the hosts friends. The distance from the beach. 3min walk.
