Das Guesthouse ist liebevoll, künstlerisch und sehr individuell zum Wohlfühlen gestaltet. Das Wohl der Gäste liegt den Gastgebern am Herzen. Besonderheiten wie z.B. Betthupferl, Origami Schwäne auf den Handtüchern, Bademantel für den Hot Pool erfreuen die Seele! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und empfehlen diese Unterkunft von ganzem Herzen. Hella und Andi

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit Herz
Die Gastfreundschaft von Andi und seiner Frau ist einzigartig. Sie sind sehr hilfsbereit und absolut verlässlich. Dank ihrer Ermutigung haben wir uns noch den Vulkan anschauen. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und außergewöhnlich. Sie ist mit so viele Liebe gestaltet. Wir können nur jedem empfehlen hier zu übernachten.

What a great stay at Yuki and Andi's place! We felt welcome from the second we came into this cozy place. So many lovely details- there's even a water kettle and free tea and coffee in each room. Great breakfast with a lot of homemade food and the best coffee and hot chocolate. Yuki and Andi gave us tons of tips and recommendations and were up for a chat whenever we crossed paths in the house. They live in a separate house next door. Absolutely unique is the pool in their garden. It's huge and cozy 40°C hot. We spent hours in the pool while snow was falling. Their place is conveniently close to the airport so we spent our first nights and also our last night there. Absolute recommendation!

Andi & Yuki machen das super. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von den beiden Empfangen und konnten bei einem offerierten Kaffee und selbstgebackenen "Guetzli" in Islandform😊 einen schwatz halten. Das Zimmer war super und das ganze sehr liebevoll und mit hingabe geführt, das merkt man sehr. Vielen vielen Dank für einen tollen Abschluss unserer wunderschönen Islandreise. Wenn wir wieder nach Island reisen ist dieses Guesthouse ganz bestimmt wieder auf unserer übernachtungsliste.

Just amazing- seriously book and be amazed!
Well this is quite possibly one of the most amazing guesthouses i have ever stayed in. Andi & Yuki are just the most amazing hosts, every guest who arrives they are so generous with their time telling funny stories, making amazing coffee, giving reccomendations and just making you feel so at home- we really felt like we were staying in their house and not in just another guesthouse! Andi's sense of humour had me in stitches :) The place itself is so amazing and cleverly furnished, it feels so warm, cozy and quirky! And what could be more amazing than sitting in the private hot tub where we were treated to a 40 minute northern lights display (ok yep that wont always happen but it was the icicng on the cake for us!). Seriously spend a few nights here - its an ideal stop before an early morning flight back from keflavik (15 minute taxi ride), but we really wished we had actually stayed a few nights to make the most of it. Everyone who i know who is going to Iceland i will be reccomending they stay here!

Andi und Yuki waren unsere Gastgeber. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und fühlten uns wie Daheim. Das Guesthouse 1 X 6 bietet sehr viel. Qualität, Sauberkeit, Wärme, Gastfreundlichkeit, Geborgenheit, super Lageplatz und eine tolle Holz Einrichtung. Wir durften bei der Ankunft einen super leckeren Cappuccino geniessen mit der Hauseigenen Barista die sie im Gästeraum haben. Wir wurden auch stets mit tollen Informationen unterstützt welche uns beim planen unseres Kurzurlaubes sehr geholfen hatte. Andi und Yuki sind Gastgeber mit Herz und Seele! Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste mal!

Traumhaftes Gästehaus mit allem was man braucht
Bei den Besitzern angefangen, über die Zimmer, den Zustand des Hauses bis hin zu dem privaten Außenpool war alles einfach perfekt. Auch ein gratis Shuttle zum Flughafen ist im Preis inkludiert. Lange Rede, kurzer Sinn: Bestes Gästehaus in Island!

I don't normally leave reviews however I felt compelled to leave one for this property. Andi and Yuki were wonderful hosts. The place was immaculate. The geothermal pool is a great addition. Make sure you get the breakfast for at least one of your mornings during your stay. It was fabulous.

Fantastic!
We were caught in a storm having been held on an arriving flight for 4hrs after landing. We decided to book a room here instead of drive in the storm that night. That room was great and Andy was a fantastic host helping us pick up the rental car the next morning 5 stars!!!

Outstanding - a home away from home
Andi and Yuki truly made our trip. Their place was immaculately clean and tidy. The couple were so helpful and were always there to offer advice and information with out being intrusive. They even took us up to a better view point to see the volcano erupting!

Amazing hosts and super cute house. Beds are comfortable and everything is super clean. It is 10 minutes from the Reykjavík airport and about 40 minutes from Reykjavík, but tons of restaurants and shopping. The mineral is also a nice add on.

Amazing hosts! Great location from Keflavik Airport. Was able to walk along flower fields to this darling B&B right along the sea. Hosts Andi & Yukon were fabulous in so many ways - lent me a swim suit for hot tub, lent me a converter for my phone charger, gave me earplugs in case I wanted to use them. Andi was a fascinating conversationalist who provided a ride bs k to airport the next day. Unique property that was super clean and well appointed with very nice linens, hot water boiler in room, even a bathrobe! Would strongly recommend this property and I even hope to return someday!

Lovely guest house
Our hosts were so gracious and hospitable from the pickup at the airport, to loaning us warm jackets, making a delicious breakfast and finally, a ride back to the airport. The guest house was intriguingly decorated and very comfy. I would love to go back again.

We loved one by six guesthouse, Andi and Yuki were very accommodating and friendly. The place was immaculate and very close to town. Andi provided rides to and from the airport and always was ready with a cup of coffee. Yuki cooked an awesome breakfast every morning and was always ready to accommodate any request. Although we came to Iceland to see Reykjavík and other sites, we would gladly return to stay here again.

This was by far my boyfriend and I’s favorite place we stayed in Iceland. The owners made everything very personable for us, upon arrival we sat and talked and they made us coffee. They have a hot spring out back that was just so amazing and relaxing. I definitely recommend it, it’s a stay you won’t get anywhere else. Even after we forgot something in our room, the owners stayed in contact with us and made it very easy to come and pick up what we left. 10/10!!

Very creative and unique guesthouse with beautiful touches and details. Friendly, welcoming owners and the best breakfast in Iceland, lovingly prepared. The hot spring right on the property is amazing and we got to see the northern lights while enjoying an evening soak! Highly recommended.

Our stay was absolutely amazing! Yoki and Andy were very gracious hosts. The property is situated in the center of keflavik but close enough to most major attractions. We are grateful we found this place and look forward to visiting again.

Well where to start, Guesthouse 1X6 is a unique place to stay, you're not just getting a room and board to stay you are getting an experience. Andi and Yuki are great hosts and they took care of us from the moment we landed on there doorstep to the last day we were there. The breakfast is amazing and I'd highly recommend trying it out, absolutely delicious. Great location and within walking distance of restaurants and convenience stores. Definitely come back again!
