    Spend your days exploring the trails through the woods, relaxing by the fireplace, gathering for meals on the deck, or watching beautiful sunsets from the front porch. Deer and wild turkeys are frequent visitors, adding to the quiet charm of the property.

    Weekly rentals run Friday to Friday to make the most of your weekends away.

    A local caretaker lives in a separate residence on the property and is available if you need anything during your stay. Guests still enjoy plenty of space and privacy while having someone nearby as a helpful resource if questions come up.

    Just a short 10-minute drive away, Mississippi River County Park offers year-round outdoor activities including hiking and biking trails, an archery range, and cross-country skiing in the winter.

The property is very peaceful and tranquil, with beautiful gardens around the yard. Family friendly with lots of games and space for the kids! Kitchen is well stocked. It is a large home, so we split the cost with two others making it affordable. We would definitely stay here again!

The Log House was just perfect for our group of 6 gals!!! The home was amazing, very clean and well stocked!! The outside grounds were just beautiful and you were out in the woods all by yourself! It was so quiet and peaceful and yet only 20 mins. from a major town!!!! We will definitely be back!!!! Thanks for a grrrreat weekend!!!!

Absolutely incredible place to stay! My sisters and I were here for a long weekend and had the most wonderful time. This place is gorgeous! The home, the setting, the flower gardens... everything was immaculately taken care of. The house is stocked with everything you could need and more. The beds...my sister said it best... were like sleeping on a cloud. The garden setting at night was magical with all the lights and the firepit. Such a relaxing peaceful place to feel refreshed and renewed. Thank you SO much!! We would love to stay here again!

We loved The Log House! We had three families so the three levels allowed everyone to have their own space and bathroom. The house was so comfortable and stocked with everything you would need to enjoy your time there. The land the property sits in it’s stunning! We would definitely rent here again in the future. One thing to note is the bathroom upstairs only has a bathtub, not a shower so those family members used the extra shower on the main floor.

Golf trip

This is our second stay at the Log House - it's so comfortable for a weekend of food, friendship, and disconnecting from the busyness of everyday life. Love being surrounded by nature, plenty of bedrooms & bathrooms, great kitchen, etc.

The kitchen was fully equipped with all sorts of supplies, included a coffee pot which they have one on all three levels of the house. Very cozy, especially around the holidays! We were there a few weeks before Christmas, and it was very nicely decorated! The rooms were cozy and well supplied with extra pillows and blankets. It was pretty chilly while we were there so we didn't do much outside, but would love to come back in the warmer months to enjoy the amenities offered outside. Highly recommend staying here!
