„I booked this place knowing little other than it was close enough to Cardiff for us to stay after the Bruce Springsteen concert. It was very well appointed, with a well equipped kitchen / dining room, spacious wet room, large bedroom and lounge with a sofa bed. And a hot tub in the communal garden area! One point that is not related to the accommodation that I wish I’d known - some of the roads are very narrow and as it’s a very hilly area there are a few hairpin bends which I found difficult ...

„Beautiful house in a lovely location. Very hospitable hosts who welcomed us into their kitchen for a pot of tea on arrival. They gave us lots of information about the area and good places to eat. Spotlessly clean room with lovely toiletries. Good quality tea and coffee and Welsh Cakes. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and of the best quality. We will definitely stay here again. “

„We had an overnight stay here which was very convenient for seeing a concert at Utilita Arena in Cardiff. The check in was very fast. The manager was very friendly and helpful by carrying our luggage to our room. The room is clean and comfortable. The full English breakfast was very good and served piping hot. I highly recommend this hotel/pub. “

Never again.
"Restaurant closed very early, there was no way to get any food. Elevator at the front door didn't work properly. Then they gave ma a room that was the most far away room you can imagine although I had super heavy luggage and despite the fact that the hotel wasn't booked out. The room was not heated and super cold. The sink in the bathroom was blocked. When I had breakfast and walked away to get a second coffee someone put a bottle with cleaning detergent on my bench and didn't show up anymore. On top you can't park in front of the hotel to unload your luggage."
