« We were so impressed with this lovely cabin! Communication with the hosts was wonderful. They answered all our questions and provided all information thoroughly and promptly. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed. We loved relaxing by the fire pit and in the hot tub, and listening to birds on the balcony in the mornings. Location was close to so many great things to do. Thanks for a great weekend getaway! »

« We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top). « We were a 4-person group of guys in our late 60s, there for a 5-night stay. The property met our needs, and it was very comfortable. Just minor issues. Got different wifi credentials prior to the trip, which could've been a disaster as there is no cell signal at the house. But the host did provide the proper connection info prior to arrival. « I gave 4 out of 5 only bc we thought by the picture of Seneca Rocks that we would be able to see it from the cabin and that's not possible. The cabin was amazing. We were in cabin 4 and it was exactly as advertised. There is no soap mentioned and although there was hand soap, dish soap, shampoo and conditioner there was no body wash and the shampoo was almost gone probably bc guests before us washed their bodies like we did. « I found the Rusty Lantern is a beautiful home in the mountains. The rear porch is large with an awesome view. The large kitchen makes preparing meals simple. There is a large table in the kitchen and a huge picnic table on the back porch. The house and porches were perfectly clean, not a spider web in sight. If you want quiet, and I mean really quiet, the Rusty Lantern is for you. »

« The cabin was exactly what was listed. The host was one of the best that I’ve ever met. Very personable. He made it a point to talk to us to make sure everything was ok. Showed us some other spots on the property that looked to be amazing as well. I highly recommend to give this a try. If you like the outdoors and great customer service, you’ll be very happy here. « Comfortable cabin. Accessible by a flight of outside stairs. WiFi was barely reliable. A beautiful quiet location with the sound of running water with a brook outside. »

« Front door entrance we were greeted with giant spiders and webs! Can't see out windows because screens are ripped and full of cobwebs. Front door needs major oil as it squeaks loud. Interior doors don't stay open had to prop them open. Fans and all lights need major dusting! Firepit chairs were so dirty we didn't use them luckily we brought our own.
