„I have seen better equipped hostels than this 4 star hotel. There were no tooth brushes, no tooth paste, no shampoo nor conditioner offered. There was also no bathtub despite getting one of the pricier rooms. The spring mattresses seem quite old, the pillows were comfortable though. The air conditioning was not working well either. The breakfast consisted of many sweets and biscuits (typical Italian), cornflakes, toast, sandwich cheese and some ham. There were no fruits or vegetables, not even ...

„Prenotato per una fuga di due giorni abbiamo trovato un posto magnifico in una posizione pttima per chi vuole fare passeggiate, trecking, bicicletta o cavallotra le montagne. Servizi ottimi personale attento e presente e cibo sia a colazione (abbondante con dolci di produzione propria) e rustorante all'altezza di un 4 stelle ma con prezzi da 3 stelle. „My husband and I spent five wonderful days at Il Giardino del Rio and enjoyed every moment. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for short walks through Castel di Sangro, or for drives through the gorgeous Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo and its scenic towns. The best thing about the inn, however? Proprietors Davide and Enzo, and Adnan. Each one made us feel like family. We already miss them!“
