« A well appointed, spotlessly clean, and oh so comfortable hideaway, with lovely bush views. Hearing kiwi calling in the night and kākā during the day added to the feeling of being somewhere very special. Our hosts were lovely, and generous with their time and suggestions of things to do. The bach is just up the road from the Tawharanui Open Sanctuary (and night-time kiwi spotting), and the Matakana Market and Cinema are just 10 minutes away. We'll be back! »

« Lawerence was fab, he helped our wobbly check in due to enjoyment the Matakana Pub and then allowed for a late check out. The outside bath and fire were magic. Within a short stroll to the Matakana Willage so very convenient.Would absolutely recommend to any couple wishing to "Get Away" and reconnect. Magic in Matakana. We"ll be back... »

« A well priced apartment adjoining the owner's home. Is a good location to get to all popular sites at Whangaparoa.A comfortable bed which ensured a good sleep. The addition of a toaster would be good for breakfast but you can use the sandwich maker to heat your bread. »

« We had a fantastic day. The apartment is located just a short walk from Waiake Beach - in fact, you can go out the back gate, stroll past the sailing club and you’re right there. The apartment itself is presented with modern decor and has everything you need for your stay, right down to the complementary tea, coffee, Milo and cookies. Lovely outlook over the reserve, huge bed in the master bedroom, spa bath in the bathroom, great communication from our hosts… really hard to fault anything about...

« This is a very tidy well presented accommodation. It has a good position in the city that allows you to easily explore. We did not find out until the last day that it is an attached dwelling with the owners. The car park was too steep and awkward to get the car into and not block owners access, there is good parking on the road beside the house. Once inside it is clean and exceptionally well layed out with loads of provisions to make your stay enjoyable. Easy to use kitchen if you decide to...
