The property was as advertised and the host was lovely and very responsive. The space was perfect for my family of five (three adults and two children, ages 10 and 11). The kids slept on the futons, while the adults had the main bedrooms. Each bedroom was spacious and the beds were firm and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to reheat leftovers and pull together a quick continental breakfast in the mornings. I read some reviews that mentioned problems with the shower temperature, but if you are patient the temperature will adjust just fine. The location worked well for us because we only spent one day in the center of the city. Because of our location outside of the touristy area, we didn't have a ton of street noise. (Although, if you are a light or early sleeper, you might benefit from some ear plugs because you can hear some conversations on the street until the restaurants close.) We were within walking distance of the Colosseum and the train stations, and everything you might need for your stay (pharmacy, grocery store, gelato, restaurants, a playground). The elevator was a huge benefit for my mom, because the apartment was on the 5th floor. We greatly appreciated the visitor guide that the host shared before our arrival. There were even a few small toys and cards for our kids to play with. All of these small touches made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this apartment and this host for your stay in Rome.
