Winter weekend away

Stayed for one night with my gf in the hunter was very comfortable the blinds could be upgraded to give a more private feel and the breakfast buffey could use some more hot food like bacon n eggs but still a very nice hide away for any season

Early check in at no cost. Free breakfast and staff were wonderful.

Our stay in The Valley.

I required a room at short notice, I contacted the guys here and they sorted me a room in a flash. They were well organised and polite. The room was clean and comfy as. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and this room had by far the best bed I've slept in. The place was shmick and the pool was unreal. I had some car trouble and was offered tools to help me out. Will def stay here again.

Peaceful country lodge

Basic but comfortable accommodation. Staff were very friendly. Restaurant had a lot of character. Food was excellent but a little pricey.

Lovely view at twilight... but-

Two light bulbs had burned out in the room and it took a few hours to get them replaced. The doorknob was missing on the inside of the bathroom door. The wifi did not work in the rooms, only in the dining room. The restaurant was closed the night we stayed. I stood outside with my laptop to get email access in the evening. It looked like there needed to be a bit of maintenance to be done. The view at twilight was lovely across the lawn. Staff was friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and we were cozy under the blankets. The property is attractive. I loved the original artwork on the walls in the dining room.

Nice hotel in a beautiful place

Very nice hotel, pleasant stay, pleasant and helpful staff. Great for overnight stay in Hunter valley near many wineries and attractions.
