Welcome to Mountainside Oak Cabin, your cozy escape nestled in the heart of Running Springs, CA. Whether you’re seeking a peaceful retreat or a playful getaway, this rustic gem offers the perfect blend of work and play. Within a few minutes’ drive, you can head to local hiking trails, bike trails, ski resorts, Arrowhead Lake, or stay for a little fun in the game room.

As you arrive, you have two vehicle parking space in the property. There is a keyless entry with a preassigned entry code. As you walk in, you are greeted by a woodburning fireplace that leads to an open space layout. In the main floor you will find one bedroom and a full bathroom. In the living room there is a 55' smart TV with an Amazon fire stick, to enjoy shows and movies. As it is a cabin, during the summer it can get warm. Our guests have said that since there is No AC, they simply turn on the fans and open doors and windows to cool the place down.

As you make your way to the bottom level, you will find half a bathroom along with two bedrooms. One of the bedrooms has been converted into a game room with a full-size futon. The second bedroom offers a dedicated workspace in case you need to get work done. Note, light construction to the East side of the cabin.

For safety reasons we have in place three exterior cameras. One of the cameras faces the parking spaces, while the other two are located in West and East side of the cabin. All cameras are exterior only.

Power outages, while infrequent, can occur in this region. This home is not equipped with a backup generator at the moment. We recommend guests come prepared with firewood and other essentials for comfort during unexpected interruptions. In case of an outage, we have flashlight for your use.
