Dans le quartier de Point Loma, ce cottage se trouve Ă moins de 2 km de Baie de San Diego et Shelter Island.Marine Corps Recruit Depot est Ă 3,6 km de distance.
The cottage was very cute and very affordable. It says that 8 could stay there, but I wouldn't recommend any more than 6. The common areas were a little crowded when we had all 6 guests out there. There is room for parking for 2 vehicles but any more than that, including having guests visit, would be very difficult as street parking is very crowded. There is a lot within a 1/2 mile or so and we walked everywhere. Shelter Island is about a mile away and were able to walk there to see the fireworks. We could actually see the barge where the fireworks were being set off! Overall, I would recommend it and I see ourselves staying here again.
Overall great stay. The property was as described and very convenient and clean. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and spices. My only concern is that I had some questions ahead of time the manager didn't respond to email or text. I finally called her the day of and she was able to assist me.
Overall everything was good. Oven didn't work but it had tried to hook to someone in our group's phone so not sure if that is why. Host responded to most messages and in good time. The property was clean, updated and per description. Our last night there there was a standoff with someone and the police about a block away and there were construction workers and noises which all are out of the properties control. Would stay again.
Home seemed to be newly renovated. It was clean and well maintained. There were extra toiletries, towels, etc. Host was helpful and responsive about beach options nearby. Beds were a little firm but comfortable.Neighborhood was ok. Not a lot within walking distance except for a convenience store and a Dennyâs. Description said that there was a laundry facility but there was not one. Apparently it was under construction. Door keypad was very finicky and hard to open. We did get locked out on one of the days that we were there which was stressful. Host mixed up my reservations with another guest which was stressful but resolved fairly quickly. Overall decent place to stay.
We stayed at the cottage to attend a family gathering for a holiday celebration. A great place to stay. While we didnât spend much time at the cottage, we appreciated how comfortable and clean everything was. Great location. We have family in San Diego so will definitely plan to stay again.
We had an amazing wedding weekend at this property! It was extremely clean, very quiet, quaint, and beautiful. The grocery store was only about 800 feet away. We will definitely be back.
We were in town for an event at the convention center, this was just about a 12-13min drive there. It was nice to be away from the craziness for downtown. It was SUPER quiet at night. I was a little worried about no A/C but with the nice weather in San Diego, it really was not bad at all. I slept comfortably at night and the fans in the rooms are great. Easy entry/exit via keycode. Walking distance to Ralphs and other stores. Definitely recommend!
We enjoyed our stay and it was the perfect size for our family group. I wish I had noticed that there is no A/C - the place gets quite hot, even with ceiling fans and doors open. Very clean and great location.
My family and I planned a weekend getaway and this was the perfect size for all 8 of us! Had all the necessities, was close to all our planned activities, walking distance to restaurants. Thank you for providing a beautiful place!
The place was great, clean, had a kitchen with good kitchenware, and a nice location for where we wanted to be in Point Loma. We were very happy with our weekend visit.
This was one of the best VRBO stays I have ever had. The place was definitely as shown online. It was also spotless, in a great location and very well equipped with just about everything we could have wanted or needed. And it was just flat out charming and inviting. All the information I received before arriving was timely, accurate and easy to understand. It was also really well located and close to everything we needed including grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops. If I'm in the area again, this is definitely the first place I'll check to see if it's available.
Older building appears newly remodeled, everything inside appears new and nice, comfortable beds. Parking spot is a plus, can be a little hard to navigate out of if curbside packed with big pickups. Advertising space for 2 cars but looks like would be a tight fit if larger vehicles. Our family has stayed in Liberty Station hotels previously, we picked this because in same area and wanted a bit more space with teenagers. Easy walk to restaurants, able to run or walk to Liberty Station or harbor area with only 1-2 major roads to stop for traffic. We did notice homeless appearing individuals in the neighborhood, had one night when awakened by someone yelling incoherently and repeatedly in the middle of the night. We took that as the price of being in a city. On arrival I put water in the tea kettle and turned on the burner on the stove, thinking about I have a cup of tea, but it set off the fire alarm, calling attention to, as far as I could tell, lack of ventilation fan for gas range. I decided there was no way Iâd want to actually cook anything on that stove. Also are only 3 kitchen counter barstools and no other place to sit to eat, so I ended up standing in kitchen for meals until someone else was done, since I didnât like to sit on couch with food and definitely wouldnât trust my teens to do so. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, would return. Would like to have seen clearer instructions on how to use the entry keypad and maybe a tea table?
