I absolutely love this place. Everyone is so nice. Doorman, waiter. They pay attention to details . Rooms are gorgeous. Great for walking and shopping. I thought, for a big hotel like this it is pretty quiet. Food at the restaurant was great with great ambiance. I sure recommend it for sure.

Hôtel bien situé, pour accès aux différents transports et la marche. Chambre de type majestueuse était ok mais salle de bain a besoin de rénovation. Petit déjeuner trop dispendieux pour ce que l'on a. Un gros hôtel donc ne pas s'attendre à un service personnalisé, ce qui était ok pour nous.

The room we have only gave one chair. It should have at least one more. There is no where to sit except the bed and so uncomfortable with two people staying in the room

I loved how there were options to dine or hang out in the hotel but there were also so many options around the hotel. It was a really great spot to be in in the city.

Very modernized style indoors. Overall very clean as well and in a convenient area. About 30 min walking distance from fisherman’s wharf or less than 10 min Uber. Beautiful view from Bar at the upper level and delicious drinks. Customer service over all was amazing.

The Starlite Lounge (21st floor) offers a beautiful view, but the music is loud and a lot of the crowd seems to be partiers--no big deal, but know in advance. And have fun figuring out what the hole in the glass shower door is for--great idea. The staff is excellent and the hotel history is fascinating. Really nice area of the city.

We spent one night in SF and the Beacon Grand was exceptional. Wonderful service all around, beautiful suite, Starlite bar was fantastic and great views of the city, and so many great stores and restaurants within walking distance.

We loved this hotel! It's next to Union Square, across from Sears Fine foods. It's beautiful, historic, and it's even haunted (😄)! The staff were all helpful and personable, the bar area was comfortable with really good cocktails. We ate dinner at the hotel and the food was delicious. We didn't go up to the Starlight Lounge but it's famous for its views. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the room had two queen beds. You could hear the cable cars clang, which I enjoyed. There is underground parking for $67/day, other hotels are $100/day. We felt we got a reasonable rate for our stay from Expedia. We were very happy and satisfied and would stay there again,!

Beautiful hotel. Very classy and superb location. Post Room has the best cucumber salad I've ever had! And the rooftop view from the Starlight Room is so special (we had amazing Old Fashioneds there). No issues with safety or unhoused people in the area. Bed was insanely comfortable. Just two complaints: the Expedia 'includes all taxes' price doesn't really; expect to pay about $34 USD 'destination fee' per day extra. Secondly, the open shower means you will have a soaking wet floor every day, so request extra towels!
