Schönes Hotel, zentral in San Francisco gelegen nur paar Minuten zu Fuß vom Union Square entfernt. Waren für 4 Tage in diesem Hotel. Die Restaurants kann ich nicht bewerten, haben nur einmal etwas vom Zimmerservice gegessen das war gut. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön, sauber und geräumig. Das Personal war wirklich sehr nett und bemüht. Unsere Koffer kamen einen Tag verspätet und wurden von der Airline ins Hotel gebracht. Die Mitarbeiter waren wirklich sehr bemüht uns bei der Abwicklung zu unterstützen und ruften auch für uns bei der Airline an. Alles in allem ein sehr netter Aufenthalt und definitiv eine Weiterempfehlung. Einziger kleiner negativer Punkt: Haben einmal in der Lobby doppelten Espresso bestellt und der hat 16$ gekostet. Das ist eine Frechheit, für einen mini Kaffee im Papierbecher kann man das nicht verlangen.

Die Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und modern. Hier gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Wir wohnten im 17. Stock und hatten eine schöne Aussicht. Auch die Klimaanlage funktionierte sehr gut und leise. Leider haben wir in diesem Hotel einen sehr schlechten Service erlebt. Als wir mit dem Auto ankamen, mussten wir unser Gepäck ausladen (insgesamt 4 Koffer und 1 Rucksack - dieser Aufenthalt war die letzte Station unserer einmonatigen US-Tour). Nach dem Ausladen müssten wir den Mietwagen wegbringen. Man sagte uns sehr barsch, dass wir nur 15 Minuten Zeit hätten, um einzuchecken, die Koffer ins Zimmer zu bringen und zurückzukehren, ansonsten müssten wir 1 Stunde Parkzeit bezahlen. Wie bitte? Als Gast hat man keinen Einfluss darauf, wie lange der Check-in-Prozess dauert. Natürlich sind die Parkplätze begrenzt, aber dieses Verhalten und diese Aussage haben uns irritiert. Während unseres Aufenthalts stellten wir fest, dass unsere Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer defekt war und sich nicht einschalten ließ. Wir informierten die Rezeption und man entschuldigte sich - als wir später in unser Zimmer zurückkehrten, wurde die Maschine ausgetauscht. Allerdings funktionierte auch die neue Maschine nicht richtig - der Pin, der ein Loch in die Kaffeekapsel stanzt, war zu kurz, so dass überall kochendes Wasser aus der Maschine kam. Wir informierten erneut die Rezeption und gingen ins Restaurant, um dort nach einem Kaffee zu fragen. Man sagte uns, dass ein "kostenloser" Kaffee nicht möglich sei und wir ihn stat

What a fabulous hotel from the moment we checked in Ricky was Lovely and gave me 2 free Birthday drinks, Danny the Food and Beverage Manager in the Anzu restaurant was so lovely it was really lovely talking to him such a nice guy ,He wanted to give me a free dessert for my Birthday but we were so full after eating dinner ,The room was amazing and totally spotless and the View was Amazing,When we were checking out Michael assisted us ,What an amazing Person he was so lovely to talk to and went totally over and above for us he was just an amazing guy ❤️, Everyone was fantastic really and made our trip so much more enjoyable and memorable.We would totally recommend this hotel without a doubt and we will definitely be coming back Thanks Hotel Nikko you definitely are a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hotel

The only place I will stay when I go to SF. Beautiful hotel right on the edge of Union Square. Walkable to all the core sights and plenty of restaurants and shops around. Japanese-inspired decor (so many cherry blossoms!) lends a calming vibe. The entire hotel is pet-friendly and there are cute doggie touches all over the place. A perfect balance of fun, calming and luxurious! I traveled with a partner on this trip but have stayed here before as a solo female traveler and the hotel's keycard elevator and single watched entrance made me feel quite safe.

The staff were extremely courteous. The hotel is very nice albeit just past its prime but it is one of the best options in downtown SF. Would definitively visit again.

It isn't that there is a particular problem with this property but it does feel like there has been some cost saving going on. For instance, the resort charge is supposed to include two bottles of water a day. What that really means is two bottles at the start and you can fill them up from a fountain. Also the main door has been closed off rather than providing full time security - meaning entry has to be through the valet parking door only.

We had a wonderful experience staying here. I had never been to the area so I frequently asked the staff at the front desk for help. They gave great restaurant recommendations, helped me understand the public transportation and gave tips on how to get around. They also helped speed up our checkout process because we left at 3:30am. The area isn’t the safest but I felt safe in the hotel. I was also traveling with my 8yo son so I was a little more worried with him there. It’s also not the most convenient location if you’re looking to stay near fisherman’s wharf, but the public transportation is very easy to use and it’s just a quick bus/cable car away. We stayed here because it has an indoor pool. All in all, it was a great experience!

Just 2 blocks away were homeless people. The area around the hotel is great in downtown San Francisco. Lots of great restaurants. The hotel is terrific with a great swimming pool and healthcare facility.

Our check in was awesome with Michael and the rest of the staff were GREAT! I can’t rave enough of the staff. Our room was upgraded (nice)/able to chk early) however, there were broken glass and took the broken pieces to front desk. They were great about it and gave us a comp drinks at their bar. On our last Saturday i caught one of the broken glass in my toe and cleaned it up and didn’t say anything, but was encouraged to let the FD mgr know, reluctantly I did and Royce took VERY GOOD CARE OF US! I would definitely go back there again.

We stayed in a Club Level room. Luis, the attendant in the Club Level lounge was fabulous. He was very attentive without being intrusive. We enjoyed talking with him. The location in Union Square is convenient for shopping and access to good restaurants.
