The host was amazing, very timely with information about the building, and communicative throughout our entire stay. They left a courtesy bottle of wine as a welcome gift to kick off our stay, which was a very nice touch.The air conditioning throughout the apartment was amazing, the beds were comfortable, and all the appliances worked perfectly.The location can't be beat as there's food right across the street, your own parking space, and beat of all you're right on the beach.This rental is truly a gem & I hope I can make it back here some time soon.

Great stay - perfectly aligned with property description

The property is fantastic, and the host communicated perfectly. It was a great, central location for my first trip to PR. Everything is exactly like it is described in the overview, with a few additional personal touches. The area can be quite loud throughout the night, so just be aware of that and plan appropriately.

Spring Break Trip

Thanks to our amazing host, who was so responsive & helpful with sightseeing/restaurant suggestions! The condo was in a perfect location, right on a beautiful beach, and a short Uber ride into Old San Juan, and was perfectly equipped for all of our needs (family of 4 - two teens!). Had a great last day visiting El Yunque & Loquillo Beach; Loved Old San Juan, especially El Morro, and wandering around the gorgeous streets! Will definitely try to come back! Highly recommended!

Very nice condo with great amenities. Parking was free and convenient. Secure building and lot and a safe and fun tourist community as well. Hosts communicated well and answered any questions. Clean and bright apartment and very comfortable. Enjoyed our recent stay.

Close car rental & Walgreens with pretty much everything you need. Location is central to walk or quick Uber to visit any major tourist attrictions. Excellent location to a great beach!! Very safe location. The owner is very responsive with great information and tips where to go/eat. Would definitely book again when visiting Puerto Rico.

Isla Verde stay

We stayed here for 3 days. The pictures are very accurate. Communication with the host was excellent, very responsive and helpful. Location is great, parking is very convenient. Only had intermittent wifi issues and could not figure out how to make the temperature in the shower be just warm. It went from scalding hot to cold so had to switch between one and the other. Everything else was perfect...

Family get away

We had a great short stay at Modern Escape. It is right on the beach and the beach is safe and beautiful. The sliding door to the balcony was broken and while the balcony was still accessible, it did seem dangerous. We did alert the owner on the first day, but we did not hear back from anyone. Other than that, the place was great. It is right on the main strip, and so on Saturday night it was pretty loud, but the owner does warn about this in the description and also supplied sound machines in each room. We did not find it to be a problem

What a nightmare!!!

I was excited to celebrate my 25th birthday with my family in our homeland for the first time. Let me be clear, this review is based solely on the incident that occurred and the host. This condo has great amenities. Minus the freezer, which took two days to completely freeze the ice. Furthermore, the electric stove took forever to use. Close to the beach and eateries. It is very busy all hours of the night in the touristy area, however, we expected that due to the location. On the second day of my stay, the shower door came off track and shattered all over me!!!! Needless to say, I was in complete shock with blood all over me from wounds and glass everywhere!!! We contacted the host immediately. He showed 0 compassion and hung up on us!!! Thank you to Veronica, the building security. She exhibited far more empathy for me and the situation than the host. The host never reached out to see if I was okay..NOTHING. Shame on you!! You should not be hosting AT ALL!!!

The Condo was exactly as shown and described, very nice and clean. The pool was excellent and having direct access to the beach was fantastic! You can rent an umbrella for the day for only $10!! The condo has beach chairs to use or you can rent a lounge chair for $4. The sound machines in the room really helped because it can be very noisy…but that was mentioned in the description. Also, for 1/2 our stay there only 1 of 4 of the elevators were in use as there was a water issue in the building. Communication with the host was Outstanding! We had one issue and reached out to the host and they were very quick to respond and was able to assist! Very great to work with!!

Great condo on the beach!!

Had a great time in Isla Verde with my 21 year old daughter, her boyfriend and my husband. We stayed 1 week and wished it was 2!! I saw slot of reviews saying it was noisy but we where on12th floor facing the city and I’m a very light sleeper and wasn’t bothered by any noise except a couple sirens. Loved the condo and proximity to the beach and city where the clubs are open 24 hours by the way 😁 Ami was a great host very accommodating! Only issue we had was trying to get in the condo area at check in but after reading her instructions more carefully we figured it out😎 Would definitely recommend this condo to anyone old or young or somewhere in between!! Just a heads up, I was told the city noise is very loud in floors 1-7

Room is nice, outside is noisy

The pros of our stay were the place itself. It’s roomy and clean. The location is very convenient and our host was more than helpful with what to do in the area. Uber and car rental are so easily accessible. You are literally on the beach. And the pool at night was perfect! Beach chairs and towels are provided! The people, on all of our trips, were amazing and friendly! The cons are, although convenient, it’s very noisy at night and the building itself is antiquated. The noise machine helped at night but even with that and earplugs, I had a difficult time sleeping. We were given one fob for 4 ppl to navigate an old iron turnstile to get access to the pool or beach. Carrying chairs was very difficult to do as you try to get through. The other hotels did not have that to get access. I would definitely return to Puerto Rico but stay at a different spot.

We had a great stay!

The area was very comfortable, decently spacious and central with lots of restaurants and grocery stores around the area. Host was responsive and helpful. As for activities during your stay the beach which was very nice and warm, a day in Old San Juan, the pool or El Yunque a local rainforest are all very fun things to do. The room had great views but got a bit noisy at night. The space was great and accommodative for our family of four and we definitely appreciated this place for our 5 day stay.

Was a nice vacation

The location is in a central location, so we had access to a lot of things. However, it would become very nosy at night even though we were not on the bottom floor, and it made it a little difficult to sleep on the weekends.
