Ocean-view villa w/ private pool

Summary:

Glass doors open wide from the living room to your private dipping pool and terrace, with uninterrupted Pacific views. Villa B8 is one of the closest villas to the ocean in La Escondida, and in whale season you can spot humpbacks from the terrace. Three bedrooms for up to six, a dining table for eight, two shared pools and self check-in. The stairs down to Playa Manzanillo are about 5 minutes on foot. Made for families and friends.



The Space:

Walk in and the front glass doors open straight onto the ocean, with your private dipping pool a few steps from the living space. The open-plan living room, kitchen and dining table for eight all flow onto the terrace.



Bedrooms: one king bed and one queen bed, and a third bedroom with three single beds, including a bunk, plus a desk. The main bedroom has its own bathroom.



Bathrooms: two full bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner and body soap.



Kitchen: fridge, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker and blender, plus cookware and wine glasses. There's a BBQ grill too.



Outside: dolphins are regular visitors along the coastline, and the sunsets are hard to beat. The two shared pools and common areas are a short walk up from the villa.



Comfort: air conditioning, ceiling fans, room-darkening shades, TV, Wi-Fi, washer and dryer, and an iron.



Guest Access:

The whole villa is yours, with self check-in. You can also use the shared rooftop pools and lounge areas. La Escondida has 24-hour security on site.



The Neighborhood:

You're in a quiet residential area on the clifftop. The stairs down to Playa Manzanillo are about 5 minutes on foot, Playa Principal is 10 to 15 minutes, and the Chedraui grocery store is 10 to 15 minutes. The Rinconada, with its shops, restaurants and bars, is about 20 minutes on foot. At night it's very quiet, and you can often hear the ocean against the rocks below.



Getting Around:

You can get around on foot, by taxi, rental car, motorbike or colectivo. The airport is 10 to 15 minutes by taxi. If you plan to drive, check the local driving conditions and insurance requirements first. There's free parking on the street.

Other Things to Note:

We are located in a friendly and welcoming community and, although this is a holiday destination, it's home to other people. As such we ask that you respect their privacy and their right to a peaceful existence! Specifically, between the hours of 10 PM and 8 AM noise should be kept to a minimum. No smoking of any kind.



All guests are required to sign the rental agreement prior to their stay. A secure link will be sent before arrival, and completion is necessary in order to access the property.



Your stay includes 50 kWh of electricity per day. Any usage above this allowance will be charged at $5 MXN per additional kWh. Consumption is monitored daily, and meter readings can be provided upon request or if the limit is exceeded. To help stay within the allowance, we recommend turning off the A/C when leaving the property.



Hurricane season notice



If your stay falls during hurricane season, please be aware that storms can cause power outages in the area. These are outside our control and can happen at short notice. We're not able to offer refunds or partial refunds for power outages or other storm-related disruptions during your stay.



If severe weather or another natural event prevents you from travelling, cancellations will follow the cancellation policy on your booking. We strongly recommend taking out travel insurance that covers weather and natural events, as any claim for costs in that situation would need to go through your insurer.
