„We’ve had a lovely stay with Michael as the host. The tents are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are clean,well thought out (everything in one stall) and well kept. Even toiletries are provided! Upon arrival Michael explained everything and provided us with power bank and lights for the night. Unfortunately it rained that night, so we missed campfire and s’mores in the evening. „The La Fonda is a beautiful old hotel. Paying for parking in the rear was so worth it. We came and left frequently, going to historical sites and Taos Pueblo. We were able to sample some local cuisine in the hotel restaurant and the owner was very informative, telling us about the history of his people and the foods they prepare(d). Wir hatten das Icon und konnten das Frühstück, welches nach Wunsch zusammengestellt wurde, draussen inmitten des schönen Gartens geniessen. So sollte ein Ferientag beginnen. Man kann zu Fuss ins Zentrum laufen. Der Weg dahin ist allerdings nicht für Fussgänger gemacht und abends im Dunkeln auch kein Vergnügen.
