Everything about this plac e was great. I knew it was out of town, but somehow it didnt register that this meant it was in a close neighborhood. Even knowing that, i would stay there again. It accomodated us and was lovely

Artist's Retreat

My family and I, had a wonderful week stay in this spacious beautiful home. It was very relaxing. It had everything that we needed plus more. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed in order to cook. The home was very clean. It had beautiful artwork though out We didn't have a chance to get in the hot tub but we spent sometime in the backyard. We would definitely recommend this place to stay while in Santa Fe.

Great house but too many issues

This house was perfect if we didn’t encounter so many issues! First upon arrival the Schlage box was completely off and not working- not sure if this needed batteries. It took us about 1/2 an hour of being on hold with VRBO to get a code to an adjacent lock box to get a key access. Then that night we went to sleep in a super comfy bed, but the fire alarms randomly went off at 5am, the. 5:25am and then 7:30am. I husband changed the batteries on a few and we called VRBO to get some assistance (she told us to call the fire department which made me laugh and want to hang up). Then it went off again at 11:25pm and 3am the next night. My husband changed all the batteries this time everywhere. and after two days and nights of random Disruption it finally stopped. We were there for a four night stay. I really needed sleep on this trip, and I did not get it. And then after 2.5 days the wifi stopped working and we couldn’t find the router to reset. This house came with no owners manual. We used the hot tub only one time because I couldn’t find the bleach tabs. Parts of the hot tub were randomly floating around too. I called VrBO about 4-5 times on this trip about all of these things. I got a number for a local maintenance guy to finally come on our third day, but we weren’t there and had the only set of keys with us since the Schlage wasn’t working. He was really only coming too to handle the fire alarm issues, which seemed to have finally stopped. I would still welcome a discount of some kind as requested; I think we deserve this. But alas, no one got back to me either. The beds were comfy, lots of sleeping spots, we cooked a lot and the home pretty much had all we needed to prep meals, and last, we enjoyed talking about all of Paul Davids’ artwork. It’s a shame it was overshadowed by more fundamental needs being disrupted.

Beautiful and Cozy Adobe

It was a simple process to rent this place. Communicating with the host was straight and easy. They answered all my questions. We all had our rooms with comfort. They had everything you would need at your disposal. It was a wonderful area and quiet. Views were beautiful. Loved all the art on the walls. Amazing.

Fantastic property. Communication not great.

The property is spacious and clean. Great space for our family and 2 dogs to evacuate to from wildfires. Property manager does not respond to messages or chats. If there’s any issues you need to call the management company and wait for them to dig through information on the property your in. I asked a few different questions via messenger on VRBO, with no response. I did need to call once to help with shutting off the security system that was blaring when we first entered the property. Woman on the phone was pleasant. Could use some updated shower fixtures in the bathrooms, but overall we had a nice stay.

Santa Fe Trip

A lovely home, filled with a variety of art. We really enjoyed reading about the artist and his art. It was a perfect place for our family of 7. Lots of space for all. The neighborhood was beautiful and we enjoyed the walking trials right behind the house. A 15 to 20 min drive to town to enjoy all the Santa Fe has to offer. We would stay there again.

Great house for a family reunion

Six of us, all retired, thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful house in Santa Fe. It is just as described. We especially enjoyed a glass of wine before dinner on the patio overlooking an arroyo. The dining room table made for a great place for morning coffee and breakfast. The artwork on the walls added to our pleasure. We definitely recommend this for any sort of larger group. It is a bit of a trip into the downtown/historic area and restaurants, so one or more cars are definitely needed.

Nice house, lots of room, carpet needs cleaning

Pics did the house justice and there’s lots of room. Biggest suggestion to owners is to have to carpets/rugs cleaned. Many spots and just didn’t feel clean. Otherwise the house was very clean, comfortable and well stocked. Location is fine but further from downtown Santa Fe than I thought, but only took about 20 minutes or less to get there. The locked gate on front door was a bit off putting, and read the instructions for alarm before enter as it went off and we didn’t know code!

Great Family Gathering

This was a great option for our annual sibling & spouse vacation. The layout was good for all the togetherness a person wanted or had plenty of options if someone wanted some quiet time. The outdoor area was a little small but, we made it work & it was beautiful setting. We would certainly consider renting again if we found ourselves back in Santa Fe

Winter retreat

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Artist Retreat. We avoided some cold temps up in Minnesota while exploring the Santa Fe area, visiting places like the Farmers & Artist Markets at the Rail Yard, the plaza, trips to National Parks, touring Los Alamos museums and a winery. We made dinner together in the sunny kitchen and then relaxed by the fireplace or enjoyed the whirlpool on the patio – beautiful evenings surrounded by colorful paintings everywhere.

Great place!

Very comfortable, spacious and clean house. Master bedroom is huge. Kitchen is fully stocked and great for big families. The hot tub was well-kept and extremely clean! Great place for families as it has lots of beds to sleep in. Perfect place to relax and enjoy your trip. Would highly recommend.
