Our stay in Watercolor was incredible overall. We loved the beach and the Watercolor amenities. The house we stayed in was beautiful, well-kept and came with a golf cart, which I think is a must. The check in and out process was frustrating though, and although Sanders Beach Rentals were very kind on the phone, they failed to deliver the customer service they promised. I will rent with a different company next time.
Weeks ahead of time, I spoke with Sanders and requested an early check in time as our flight got in early and we had luggage we would like to place inside the home. They promised to notify me as soon as the home was turned over to allow me to enter early. In the meantime they said I could leave our luggage on the front patio.
On check in day I contacted them to let them know we had arrived. Once again they said they’d let me know as soon as it was turned over so we could enter early if possible. Out of concern for leaving our luggage out in the open I stayed with it and waited outside the property. I waited for hours, checking with Sanders a couple times. Although turnover happened before I even got there, Sanders made me wait until 4 pm before they said it was finally ready. All I wanted to do was put my stuff inside and grab our wristbands so we could use the amenities.Very frustrating to be made to wait without reason.
At checkout the similarly were unable to grant even an hour late checkout despite having discussed that as well. Rent from someone else.
