It was a great space to stay in for me and my small family! Those stairs are for sure a workout lol but no complaints! There was a small issue with the sliding doors that connected to the washer/dryer area but they communicated with us as soon as we texted! The living room has an adequate space and the balcony is also enjoyable ! The beach was also close and we were able to walk there and back, we loved the scenery :) thank you for having us!

Everything was great; outside of the fact, that it wasn’t listed that the elevator wasn’t working. When contacting the property, they mentioned that elevator wasn’t listed as an amenity and has been out of order for some time. While that is accurate, it should have been disclosed especially because our condo was on the top floor.

Elevator does not work/still a wonderful place to stay

My family and I stayed off and on for a month. Great location for access to shops, restaurants, and beach. My only complaint would be the elevator not working the entire stay. My in-laws stayed a few nights and as they are older, had difficulties going up and down 3 flights of stairs. I may would have reconsidered this option if I knew the elevator was down. I think this should be posted if the elevator is not working as it appears others reported online that the elevator was down. Just something nice to know ahead of time. Other than that minor issue, we had a wonderful stay. Communication was great as well.

Beautiful condo BUT...

A beautiful condo. We called the 40 steps to the condo STAIRS OF DEATH. If you are older don't rent this condo. I was unable to open the door when we arrived and called the number. I was told to pull hard on the door in order to get it open which I did and got in but had to wrestle with the door each time as well as traverse the stairs of death. The key in the lock box for the sliding glass door and to operate the elevator didn't fit either lock. The elevator didn't work anyway so had to carry suitcases up the 40 stairs of death. Won't stay here again. If you go to tybee take water with you as the water tastes bad to me.

Upon arriving there were a couple of issues with the unit we rented but the management company made it right by putting us in another unit. It was nice and clean. The location was great. The parking was really tight, though.

Some glitches

We enjoyed being in Tybee Island, but do have some comments about the rental unit in the hope it will help make this place more desirable for others. First we were on the 4th floor without a working elevator. This was challenging for the older family members with recent knee replacements and one who has exertional asthma. It seems you or the homeowner should have known the elevator wasn’t working because you did not provide a key for its use in the lock box as your letter indicated you would do. Second, you only provided one key for the unit, for 6 adults to coordinate. At least 2 would have been nice. Third, the second bedroom door did not latch and could be opened with a gentle push. Fourth, the living room TV did not work, another fact the homeowner knew about in advance since we were told a new TV was on order. Fifth, Why keep a non working microwave and coffee pot in a small kitchen with limited counter space? And there were no coffee filters. Working appliances were provided but we had to go out and buy coffee filters. And finally, The master shower sprayed some water above the shower curtain and wet the floor and anything stacked on the toilet.On a positive note, the Southern Bell representatives could not have been more responsive during the holiday. They were Jen ( I’m guessing she is in Customer Service) and Katie (maintenance) and are to be commended for their efforts on our behalf and for their professionalism.

Great spot!

The apartment was better than expected. AC was nice and cold, upgraded kitchen appliances. Very close to the beach and the resort style pool. It is perfectly located 1 block from the hustle and bustle of tybee. The only drawback we found was parking. It was great to be under the building but there was a fence lining the road that made extremly difficult to get in and out, but we didn't leave much because of the amazing location.

What a cute place!

The rental company, Southern Belle Tybee, was awesome to work with from the beginning! Communication was clear, and they quickly answered my questions. We loved this condo and its location! It was clean, and the two king beds were comfortable. You can see the ocean from the two porches. We did simple meal prep in the kitchen. The condo is a short walk to the beach, restaurants and bars! My message to the condo owners is that it is time to take a few days and give this condo a little TLC. It's had a hard, fun summer. Cabinet hinges are loose in the kitchen. The corner cabinet in the kitchen barely turns without great effort. There is peeling paint in both bathrooms. The couch (with pullout bed) has cushions that sank lower each time we sat on it. Another chair in the great room has a bent leg. These are small things that didn't deter our fun, but they need attention. Yes- we would stay there again! We didn't use the pool, but it is just down the street from this unit and looked very nice. Thanks for a great Mother/Daughter getaway!
