Our stay was as expected for an older Savannah carriage house. The proximity to the beautiful Forsyth Park was very convenient. If you are at all challenged by steep stairs you may esnt to rethink it. Your suitcases have to go upstairs to the bedroom. We also had one towel and one wash cloth per person for the entire 3 nights booked. The beds were large and comfortable. The ac worked well which was much appreciated. The tvs remotes didnât work neither tv.. the space is good for two. More than two would be cramped and due to bathroom and preparation for the day space. Parking, as describe vehicle, is sufficient.
This was the perfect location when staying in Savannah. The parking spot was the main attraction for me while looking for a place to stay. It was close to Forsyth park but just far enough away that it was quiet the entire time we were there. We were able to walk almost everywhere while also being able to drive to the store to get groceries. The only thing I would change is the shower head. It definitely needs upgrading.
We really enjoyed our time at this property. The manager, Allan, couldnât have possibly been more communicative. The place itself was really good. The only minor issue is the gate to enter the yard didnât latch. That was only an issue because it was windy (fun fact: our back gate was open when we got home, too, because of wind. Go figure!). Loved having an upstairs to sleep and the balconies up there. I actually really liked the kitchen. It was a good size and allowed for plenty of room for the minor cooking we did. I would absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.
