This cosy holiday home is located in an ideal spot for exploring the beautiful Suffolk coast and countryside by car or bike with Dunwich beach and RSPB Minsmere less than 15 minutes away. With the bonus of a gastro pub next door and enclosed back and front gardens, this quiet cottage retains a wealth of character throughout. On the ground floor, you’ll find a cosy living room, kitchen/breakfast room and attractive bathroom, with the pretty king and single bedrooms upstairs.

The garden path of this mid-terraced cottage leads you to the front door and entrance hall with space to leave footwear and coats.

LIVING ROOM
Step down into this comfortable cottage-style room with its wood burner in the original fireplace, TV and DVD player (with a selection of DVDs to choose from), two seater sofa, handsome chair, and antique dressers.

KITCHEN/BREAKFAST ROOM
Tucked at the back of the cottage, this traditional kitchen has an electric oven with a separate grill, a four-ring hob, a two shelf fridge and a box sized freezer. The farmhouse table has a couple of stools so you can eat at home if not tempted to wander to The Fox next door! A rear hall gives access to the bathroom and door to the garden.

BATHROOM
Fitted with a hand shower over the bath and a shower screen, a wash basin, a WC and a window giving natural light.

FIRST FLOOR
Wooden stairs with a hand-rail on the left take you to the first floor which is all carpeted.

MAIN BEDROOM
An attractive antique king-size bed sits between bedside drawers with additional storage in a wardrobe and a chest of drawers.

SINGLE BEDROOM
Light floods this quaint room at the back of 2 Fox Cottage, furnished with a single bed, chest of drawers, chair and hanging rail.

OUTSIDE
Parking is directly in front of this mid-terraced cottage (please respect the neighbours’ parking) with additional spaces on the roadside opposite. Catch the morning sun in the front garden and move round for the afternoon and evening sun in the pretty secluded gravelled garden with a picnic bench. Both gardens are enclosed but children and dogs should be supervised. There’s also a path leading along the back of neighbouring cottages so you can wheel a bike along to store it safely in the shed at the back.

LOCATION
If you'd like to travel by train you'll find Darsham station just 5 mins away, with a good service through Ipswich to London.
In addition to Dunwich beach, there's picturesque Walberswick, Southwold with its iconic pier and lighthouse, and colourful Aldeburgh just a short drive from the cottage. For shopping, you can enjoy the local produce and deli items from the Emmerdale Farm Shop; supermarkets in Saxmundham; and a wealth of independent shops in the coastal towns or inland at Halesworth, Beccles and Framlingham.

Due to the size of the cottage only one pet is allowed unless more are agreed in advance when two small dogs may be permitted. \\
We ask that dogs do not go upstairs or on the sofa unless a provided blanket is used or a visitor's own blanket is used.
Use firewood provided or bought wood, no wet wood to be used.
