Decent room in building in pub car park. Nicely decorated, good amenities. Bed/mattress were cheap but didnât affect my sleep. No sockets adjacent to the bed which is always annoying. My first floor room only had a Velux window so no view outside. The bathroom was very small but well equipped with toiletries and soft towels. Included breakfast was very good. All in all, I was happy with this stay and felt it was good value.
We booked a Good double room with king bed for 2 nights. The room we were allocated was on the ground floor right on the pavement and road which was noisy. The window had no net curtains just a blinds so offered very little privacy unless you closed the blind which would make the room very dark. The bathroom did not have frosted glass and was on a walkway. We were moved to another room away from the road which was only available for 1 night and are awaiting a refund for a second night.
The hotel was fne what I did not bargain for was having dogs in the dining room. I do not mind dogs but am never happy with them where I am eating so will not be going back.
Food very good and service and staff were great. Would have liked more variation on evening meal was same menu the three nights I stayed. Did have a special but it was same for two nights
Bedroom was of a good standard, and had all necessary facilities. No areas to be away from dogs staying at the hotel. There were 6 - 8 dogs at each mealtime, which was too much for us, they were fed by the staff, and a doggie accident meant staff cleaning up the poo.
Arrived at 8:45 pm on a last minute booking. Restaurant last orders was at 8:30. Reception rushed through to the kitchen to squeeze me in. Very accommodating staff.
