The hotel is well situated and offers a convenient base for the local area. I would also like to commend the night staff, who were exceptionally professional, understanding, and accommodating throughout our stay.
However, our experience in Room 11 was deeply unsettling. During the night, my partner was abruptly woken and believed she had been physically touched, which caused her considerable distress. When we raised this with staff, we were informed that similar reports had been made previously. Regardless of individual beliefs, we feel that any recurring concerns of this nature should be communicated to guests in advance, allowing them to make a fully informed decision prior to their stay.
The situation escalated to the point where my partner felt unable to remain in the room. The night staff handled this with great sensitivity and professionalism, kindly offering an alternative room, which we very much appreciated.
While we are grateful for the staff’s response and support, the overall experience was significantly impacted by this incident.
