« We certainly enjoyed our stay at the houseboat. Monnickendam is a cute little town with a nice market, shops and restaurants. Just a 10 minutes walk to the bus stop into Amsterdam - very convenient. On the houseboat you find everything you need. Perfect spot in the evening is on the rooftop. Our host provided us with a very warm welcome. Communication was easy and very pleasant. Getting used to the dry toilet is a little challenge - there are „normal“ toilets in the main building. »

« This was an ideal place to stay in Amsterdam. It was super fun to stay on a houseboat, and this is a particularly nice houseboat. It has an ideal location, right at the edge of the city center--easy walking to everything but on a nice, quiet canal surrounded by beautiful buildings that seemed apart from the intensity of the most tourists districts, even though they were just a few minutes walk away. « If your looking for the quintessential Amsterdam experience this is it! The house boat is close to everything while still being is a quiet residential neighborhood. Robertino is as gracious a host as you could ask for and will do what ever he can to make your stay in Amsterdam wonderful. We cannot recommend this houseboat highly enough. We loved our stay and now feel we have friends here. »
