„For once a brochure did not do a property justice. Had six adults and three small children stay with plenty of room for everyone. The view was beautiful, the dock very nice (about 4 feet of water toward the end), and the house itself just perfect. We will definitely return since the area was peaceful and just what we were looking for. We are going to miss our morning coffee on the back porch! “

„The house and property were absolutely beautiful - exactly the way it was portrayed online. I like to make breakfast on our family trips and the kitchen was fully equpped imo. The only thing missing was drinking water but luckliy we brought a case of bottled water. The house is in remote location in a quiet neighborhood. It's a perfect getaway from city life. We were 5 mintues from the Aurora Ferry. We took advantage of that and got to see Bath, Bellhaven and Washington across the Pamlico ...

„I didn't expect it to be as remote as it was, but it was exactly what I didn't know I needed. A place to unwind. I caught bluebcrabs, spotted trout, drum, flounder, and even hooked (but not for long) a shark. And that was all without even getting in a boat. I saw a black bear, a bobcat, and turkeys on the road right outside the property when heading out for groceries around 5 pm. The sunrises were an intense tropical orange color that i haven't seen before; worth getting up at 5 for on a day ...

„We had everything we needed. The space was just the right size for 3/4 people. The outside was a little cluttered but didn’t bother us. I would offer a couple of recommendations: 1. Having some firewood for the wood stove would be a great addition. 2. A pullout couch would be better than the futon. 3. Need some space to hang hunting gear to help keep things better organized. We truly had a great time and space was great hope to come back next year!“
