From the moment we arrived, the experience was profoundly unprofessional and unsanitary, raising serious concerns about both the cleanliness and management of the establishment.
Our stay began with a concerning safety hazard: the air conditioning unit cover fell off upon arrival. We immediately reported this to the front desk, asking that it be cleaned. Despite an apology and a promise of immediate attention, no one addressed the issue. Furthermore, upon showering, we discovered the presence of black mold in the shower corners, a serious health concern.
Given these unacceptable conditions, we asked for a full refund and checked out to seek alternative accommodations. While the manager was unavailable, the front desk staff initially assured us that a refund would be processed. However, subsequent attempts to follow up on this promise through Expedia and direct contact with the inn have been met with complete disregard. Expedia reported that the inn was unresponsive to their calls. After we secured alternative lodging, our attempts to contact the inn to confirm the refund were met with our phone numbers being blocked, both mine and my friends. The inn's subsequent response of only answering one call, then blocking the number, is completely unacceptable.
The blatant disregard for guest safety, health, and well-being, compounded by the subsequent attempts to avoid accountability, is astonishing. The presence of black mold presents a significant health risk, and the failure to
