But my favorite parts of Sedona are the little known secret places, that you can explore and experience without the crowds. This gem is one of those secret locations. Sedona almost never gets snow, and when it does snow, it rarely sticks. So when a giant snow storm shut down the whole city last winter, we were dying to go out and get some epic snow pictures! Locals refer to this spot as the Birthing Cave. It is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy parts of the city. It is a fairly easy hike to get here, but getting up into the cave is a whole other story! It requires a lot of scrambling, and some serious guts! Beautiful Sedona stay

The property is beautiful, with amazing views from the wraparound deck. The house was well equipped and very comfortable. Neighborhood is quiet, and removed from the insane number of tourists that invade Sedona. It was perfect for our 3-night stay in the middle of Sedona's trails. Please note that if you have trouble walking stairs, do not stay here. However, we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing property

Our stay at Vortex Horizon could not have been more perfect. Amazing views!! Multiple outdoor spaces, updated kitchen and baths, comfortable beds, and one of the most well-stocked homes we’ve ever stayed in. We hope to be back in the future!

Breathtaking

Words fail me. The house’s panoramic views could cause you to waste away the day gazing. The stars and reflection of the moon off the mountains lull you to sleep. The steam shower is rejuvenating. And, for some extra fun, the javelinas traverse the hilltop while you are watch from the deck. Communications were great. The stairs are legit but so worth it for the views.

Highly recommend this property

Can't beat the view. Even better than shown in the photos. House is unique, enjoyable, clean and well decorated. Appliances new and all in great shape. Pre-check in handled well, and easy check-out, good communication and support by Mary (caretaker). House well-stocked with towels, spices, a pair of bicycles, etc. so easy to settle into. Very minor things to be aware of would be a lot of stairs (no issue for us, just letting those with stair issues / bad knees, etc. know) and you can't seal the master bathroom off from the master bedroom (no door - if couples are shy, need to leave the room so the other can shower, use the toilet, etc.). Only listing these for awareness, they caused no problems for us. We would absolutely rent this property in the future. It was probably the nicest property and easiest transaction we've had on VRBO. Shout out to the owners - thank you! We loved it! Hope to visit again!

Views for Days!!

This is our 2nd time at this propery and it was just as amazing as the first. The views from the deck are unbeatable, stargazing from the master bedroom, fully stacked kitchen, and did I mention the views. Thank you for opening up your home!!

Incredible stay at Vortex Horizon in Sedona!

This property was beautiful and delivered as advertised. The home was gorgeous, it was comfortable, well-stocked and the neighborhood was convenient to all the things you would want to do in Sedona. The views from the front balcony area are the true showstopper though, could sit there for hours!

I truly believe this house has the best views in Sedona. The checkin process was smooth, house stocked with everything you need, comfy beds, wonderful steam shower and a balcony to enjoy the sunsets and sunrises. Loved it. We will be back!!

Absolutely beautiful location

Wonderful

Exceptionally clean, incredible views, very quiet neighborhood, lots of amenities. We loved sitting outside by the propane fireplace at night. The deck had gates by the stairs which is great for keeping dogs and kids contained! The house was so clean that you wouldn’t know it’s pet-friendly. Highly recommend staying here!

15 Year Wedding Renewal

We checked in and let me say that it’s absolutely beautiful. I’m so sad we didn’t get the chance to have our on the back porch or even have a full meal there. We only slept and had coffee there. Unfortunately we had to move the coffee maker but that wasn’t a big deal. It was just a dead outlet. The room upstairs has a AC unit above the door was which we didn’t know until the 2nd night. The views are beautiful, it was so quiet in the area. Never heard anything. Everything was perfect!! I love it. I plan to do it again. ❤️❤️❤️ Someday I plan to move there. I’ve always felt at home in Sedona. Thank you for letting us rent your home for a few days.

Beautiful location

This is a beautiful location - the panoramic view from the main level is truly amazing, and we spent lots of time on the deck enjoying the morning and evening sky. It's a short distance into town and many nearby sites, and has lots of games and streaming options for TV if staying inside. The garage also has bikes and games as well, and kitchen was well supplied. Thanks for making our stay in Sedona great!

One of the best weekends

Pleasantly surprised with our stay. Clean, quiet and beautiful view. Home was decorated well and had a great set up for our son, his wife and ourselves. With lower level master and upper level master. There was a den/office with pullout if needed, which was my favorite room except for the main level due to the gorgeous view. Outside deck had nice seating area with a fire coffee table. Would stay again.

We stayed at this location for the views but the inside did not disappoint. Had everything we needed. Furniture and beds are comfortable. Loved the hot steamed shower! Amaxing views and perfect location!

We had a wonderful time in Sedona. The house was very comfortable and full of natural light and beautiful views. It had everything we needed to feel at home for those 6 days and was the perfect base after exploring/hiking nearby attractions in the early mornings. We loved sitting out on the patio in the evenings and how quiet the neighborhood is. Looking forward to a visit again in the future!
