The Red Rock Retreat was the perfect place to stay! It was in a quiet part of town and had amazing views. The retreat doesn't have a full kitchen (it does have a kitchenette) so if you plan to be out and about most of your time in Sedona, this is the perfect place to be at the end of the day. The property was also very clean and overall had nice amenities. We would stay again.
We had a wonderful stay at Red Rock Retreat! Nestled up a winding road in the quiet Village of Oak Creek, this cozy cottage felt like a true escape. Our closest neighbors were the red rock mountains and a small trail right outside the doorâperfect for a peaceful morning walk or a quick nature break. Each day started with the sound of birds chirping and a glowing sunrise over the distant red rocks, and ended with breathtaking sunsets that lit up the whole landscape. It was the perfect place to unwind after a day of hiking and biking in the Sedona area.If youâre looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway surrounded by nature, this is the spot. Weâd come back in a heartbeat.
We live in Phoenix and wanted to get out of town for a few days to Sedona for my wifeâs 50th birthday. This was perfect. It literally was the end of the road with nobody to the east of us to the mountains. We had 6 inches of snow the day after we got there so it was absolutely beautiful. Nice quaint little place. Highly recommend it.
We enjoyed our stayed at Red Rock Retrest. The views were stunning. As many others have mentioned the wifi is poor. It should not be inlcuded in the listing tbh.
Beautiful spot. Check in instructions could be clearer.
Internet access very poor. Cell-phone signal limited, inconsistent. Makes it a little difficult to plan outings, meals..
The Wi-Fi is bad to nonexistent. Thatâs all the bad I have to say.
Itâs clean, private, has outstanding views. Itâs close enough to all the activities Sedona is known for, but not in the city.
We could hike during the day and retreat to that wonderful patio and watch the night sky. Loved it.
Really enjoyed the peaceful location, beautiful views, and best of all, the ability to access a hiking trail right outside the back door. The room had everything we needed right down to the little amenities that add to a pleasant stay. We'll be back!
Hard to describe how beautiful it was up there,,,could see for miles and miles..a friendly little fox came to visit one morning,,,we loved it..the sky a.r night was a wonderful land of stars. Will always remember out days there
The casual was very clean and had amazing views! The neighborhood was beautiful as well. The host is very communicative and friendly. Our favorite part was the veranda and watching the sunset and listening to the coyotes!
Cute little house, perfect for the two of us. Close to Sedona but also quiet. Wifi doesnât work very well. Overall, very pleasant place and pleased with what is offered.
We had a great stay! This property is on a hill that backs up to a wilderness area. A near 360 degree view of nature. Sunrise and sunset right out the windows or off the scenic deck. A short drive to numerous trailheads. Access to all that Sedona has to offer. Itâs a relatively small space and cozy for two. The queen bed was comfortable, small kitchenette and ample utensils for simple meals. Overall, a gem for outdoor lovers.
The internet was inadequate. We understand that a stay in a place like RRR is not about being on the internet, but there were some communications we needed to do and they had to be done out on the porch to get a good enough signal. I talked to Ruth about some items before we started our stay so I did not have a chance to mention this to Ruth, but we have Starlink Sat Internet at our ranch and it works great! We have a range of 100GB to 385GB 'down' speed and use a mesh system which would work great there at RRR.
The other item is that I would install a sink so dishes would not have to be washed in the bathroom. To do this the refrigerator would have to move to the cabinet stack to the right of the bathroom.
Hope this is productive.
Pictures can not do this place justice. The views are stunning! It's a private, peaceful place surrounded by beautiful views everywhere you look. You can see the sunrise and sunsets from your bed if you choose. The national forest is your back yard! The inside is nice and cozy. We loved it and would stay here 100 times over if we could.
The Casita at Red Rock Retreat was absolutely amazing. The surrounding views are stunning, with a perfect view of the sunset. You could hop onto Jack's Canyon trail for a hike and easily drive into town. Inside the casita was beautiful and thoughtful, with plenty of comfortable seating and accomodations to help you just rest and enjoy the peace and quiet. Would highly recommend this as your get-away!
Itâs rare that you can find a room with a view and a sense of peaceful solitude! Itâs a basic space for sleeping and spending a bit of time. The kitchenette is limited but you have what you need. Quite a gem!
We really enjoyed our stay. They setting is just amazing, and the drive into Sedona was easy and beautiful. Highly recommended. Be aware that the steps are for real. Getting a heavy suitcase up to the cabin is not for the weak.
We spent three wonderful nights in the casita perched all on its own on top of the neighborhood in Jackâs Canyon surrounded by incredible views, peace and quiet. Itâs a perfect spot from morning coffee to nighttime star gazing. Everything about this property is lovely and easy to get to all the trails and restaurants in Sedona. Weâll be back!
Property is designed for two people to enjoy a romantic stay together. Very isolated but the views from balcony and the bed are AMAZING! Reminder that there is no kitchen but great restaurants near by. Would definitely stay again
Perfect as a writing retreat, place to paint or photograph, meditate AND hiking trails are literally everywhere. Owners home nearby and amazing people - available if needed yet still have all the privacy one could possibly need- would definitely recommend and do again- also the bedding is super Comfortable too!
