My goodness, where do I start? A fantastic host. Beautiful house and everything you need for any kind of cooking that you do and impeccably clean. Wonderful and quiet location. Gorgeous views. Have I said enough yet? Not really, I mentioned to Kay that this was an anniversary weekend for us and when we walked into the kitchen, she had a cake, roses and a note wishing us a happy anniversary. I have stayed in many places, and this was the warmest and most relaxing stay. Thank you Kay, we will be back!
We loved our stay at Salish Sea Serenity! This was a ladies craft get away. The home was clean and very well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed, plus a few extras. The backyard feels like a secret garden, we enjoyed the peaceful quiet and listening to the birds singing. The view is amazing, we enjoyed watching the boat traffic. The walk down to the little private beach area was unique, and a fun place to explore. I would highly recommend Salish Sea. Kay was there to greet us and was a very welcoming host. I would definitely stay here again.
This home was very comfortable for our trip to Sequim. It was sparkling clean, all the appliances are new, the king bed was comfortable, and the home was incredibly well stocked. It even had sharp knives and a functional can opener, something we rarely find in a VRBO house. Kay was a wonderful host who greeted us on arrival. She even provided a jar opener for a stubborn can of spaghetti sauce. We appreciated that the home is all on one level. It was quiet, peaceful, and we felt it was our own private getaway.
We loved our stay! Beautiful view, private beach access and very clean. Well appointed property and conveniently located. Highly recommend staying here!
Spent a âgirlâsâ weekend at Kayâs duplex. There were four of us so we appreciated all the space. The place is well stocked, the kitchen has everything you need in terms of spices, cooking utensils, wine glasses, etc. The backyard is nice and the views from the front of the home are gorgeous. Great location if you want to visit the lavender farms.
Had a nice stay for about a month in this beautiful home. Itâs very clean and the rooms are nice. We worked a lot but the little time off we did have was very relaxing. I really hope we can come back to this small town and work more so we can stay here again.

The house is clean and the kitchen well-appointed. VRBO is 1/2 of a duplex and is attached to owner's house, but felt sufficiently private. Boat dock is about 1/2 mile away. Dungeness Spit is a short drive. Private beach is big enough for skipping rocks and admiring the sunset and is protected from the predominant western wind. Owner was responsive and accommodating. I hope to come back.
Many nice upgrades to this 1970's house though it could use a few more -- especially the doors some of which are very difficult to open and close. Master bath is very small, but there is not much they can do about that.

Great place for a group of girls who love to craft, eat and relax.
Salish Sea Serenity property was exactly as advertised and our family spent a lovely week in August on the shore of Juan de Fuca Strait. House had everything we need, kitchen was well-equipped and the beds were comfy. Private access to the beach was a real plus and it came with multiple bald eagles roosting in the trees as well. WE loved watching the boat traffic moving in the strait and easy access to town. Our property contact was very friendly and helpful. We hope to stay here again very soon. Scott K.
Our family of five had a great weekend here. Everything you need is available in the house, from utensils, bedding, and treats! We drove two hours to the Hoh rainforest and spent time exploring the shores nearby. Clean property, cozy, and felt just like spending a weekend with family in a home, not just a rented house. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This was an outstanding property. The view from the property was great! The walk down private beach was really unique. I saw a seal and my wife saw a bald eagle! Sunsets are really cool and you get a good view.
The property was easily able to handle our family size. It could have handled even more. All the amenities one could think of were in the property. Utensils, snacks set out when we came in, patio with BBQ and outdoor eating area, etc. Really, it was like coming to your own (very nice) home.
The location was great too. It was accessible to the north entrance to the Olympic National forest. Overall, I would definitely stay here again when/if we return to the area!

Stayed at Salish Sea Serenity with my parents who were visiting from India. Firstly, I am puzzled on why the description is confusing as it says 3BR Condo? It is a very nice house with a view of the waters and private access to a beach, with a nice backyard. The house was very nicely decorated and had some of the best stocked amenities (kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, BBQ etc) I have come across for VRBO properties - well thought out. The house, apart from 3 BRs, also has a nice living room, a dining room and a very nice "play" room/entertainment room - we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kate was very response and was there to greet us. The house itself is very close to the Dungenness Wildlife Refuge and to many Lavendar farms. Thanks Kate for making our stay memorable.
We had a delightful stay at this condo. The views are spectacular, the property was spotless, impossibly quiet, with beach access, and a well equipped kitchen.
Kay is a lovely hostess who turned on the lights in anticipation of our late arrival, and left us coffee creamer and fresh lavender on the patio. Very thoughtful. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 to enjoy all Sequim has to offer. We will stay here again.
The view from this property is outstanding and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. This area is a birder's paradise. The condo itself was spotless and had everything we needed. There is beach access with a nice little deck, but the trail down to it is quite steep. If you want to kayak, the boat launch at the smaller spit is just a short distance away. Kay was extremely helpful and responsive (Thanks Kay!) My only suggestion would be to add some grab bars to the main guest bath for your older guests.
I wish I could give this property a 6-star rating.
This property is probably one of the best, if not the best, of the vacation homes we have rented over the decades. Kay is a very welcoming host and met us upon our arrival.
The home has equipped with everything more than we needed, from the kitchen to the bathroom. We were very impressed by the careful and thoughtful provisions of those pretty unusual items like baby cups, razors and cream etc. which are normally not provided in any vacation home.
While the phone reception in the area was not good at times, the Wifi reception was perfectly OK.
The property provided easy access to all the attractions, including the nearby lavender and animal farms. Don't miss the Animal Farm - you will love it no matter how young or old you are - a real surprise to us.
A very good holiday home - very spacious and clean - we enjoyed BBQ every night at the back yard, and drinks at the front lawn every evening.
I highly recommend it to the travelers.

We had a great time at this property. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 and everyone could relax in their own space or enjoy together. The backyard is lovely with plants and great grill. The views of the sea on the front of the house (the water, the lighthouse in the distance and Juan de Fuca strip) are really nice
The private beach is just across the street. It's more pebbles than sand but our kids loved playing in it, discovering all types of seashells and even spotted a seal nearby .
Kay, the owner, made sure we had everything we needed and more. You can see that she takes care of every detail and the house is really comfortable.
We hope to come back in the future.
This was a wonderful place to stay. Nice and cozy, plenty of room and equipped with everything we needed. Location is ideal for visiting any of the places along the Straits of Juan de Fuca. The only problem we encountered was with the large TV. It would help if there were some written instructions for this operation. We had to have help from Kay who was our contact person. The room with twin beds needs some storage area for clothes, like shelves in closet or small chest of drawers.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Salish Sea Serenity! So peaceful and what a great view! The amenities were as described, pretty much anything you could need was provided. The backyard garden was so lovely and there was lots of comfortable seating with both a living room and family room. We were pleasantly surprised to find the condo exceeded our expectations.
